Classic Spanish layout where the Catholic Church is the center of town. We went to Sunday Mass here as well. Highly recommend for Mass or to stop and pray. Parish usually has food & arts booths setup in front too.

This Roman Catholic church has been in continuous service for over 300 years, since before the Revolutionary War. It has all the classic features and is on the Old Town Plaza. Stop in for a brief visit to admire the history, or go to Sunday Mass and then across the Plaza to your favorite restaurant for lunch. Either way, follow it up with an afternoon of shopping for everything from cheap
souvenirs to fine jewelry and artworks. If you visit Albuquerque, you need to spend some time in Old Town.

We wished we had more time to admire the beauty inside, but the festival outside in the plaza called us.

My wife and I visited the church and were really impressed by it's beauty. We knelt and prayed and burnt a candle while there. God is good.

Very historic plus the architecture depicts the local area extremely well. I believe that the church may have been constructed in the 1600s but I am not 100% sure. It is worth the time to visit.
