Wonderful historical site. Just lovely. They have a museum, have mass there and a nice gift shop. Right off the main plaza in Old Town. Wonderful!

Make sure and go to the parking lot behind the church. Te is an old tree stump with a carving in it made from a butter knife!

Its a working church, not set up to be a tourist trap. Its authentic and has been there since before most of our founding fathers were born.

Want to see some of Albuquerque's history? This little church on the plaZa inOld Town can give you a feel for the city before the railroad. There is also an excellent gift shop with a fine selection of books on New Mexico religious history and some pretty decent religious art.
