We recently moved from Albuquerque and always finding ourselves saying, "if only we could go back to Farina..." while thinking of places to go for a gormet pizza and friendly atmosphere. Farina is located in an older building on Route 66 with exposed brick walls, rotating artwork and a friendly staff. The pizzas are simple and satisifying, made in a wood fire oven. The Bianca is our favorite. A nice wine and beer list is also available. This is a great place for a weeknight date or a weekend dinner with friends.

The food is good, but the ambience indoors is not that pleasant. Sit outdoors if the weather permits.

we almost didn't go, due to the negative comments on this place's service, but i am glad we gave it a try. the pizza was fabulous (we had the bianca and a special they had just for that night). the huckleberry gelato is made in-house and it was amazing! wine list was fair. service was good in our opinion. only negative was that you are packed in like sardines- our table was VERY close to the next table- like 6 inches apart (this was the case for most everyone in the place). other than the crowded seating arrangement, overall a very good experience!

We dined on the patio and had the best salad and pizza! Our waiter, Ben was so friendly, warm and helpful. He is my new favorite waiter! Their brick oven pizza has a crisp/chewy crust that I could eat alone but our Margherita pizza was a tasty addition. The salad had a champagne vinaigrette dressing, with apples and greens. Very delicious!

If this isn't the best pizza in ABQ it is certainly tied for #1. What puts Farina over the top is the atmosphere. It has a fun, curvy bar and a nice wine list to go with. It's one of those places that makes you feel at home the moment you walk in.

If you can, grab a seat outside, but inside is nice, too. Either way it is a nice, romantic setting.

The food is spectacular. I'm a pizza junkie and Farina really surprised me. I had heard it was good, but I would say 'great'. (Just make sure to save room for gelato.)

Last, but not least, the service was top notch and prices are extremely reasonable, I'll be back.
