Hotel was in a good location off the interstate. Our room was on the street side but was not noisy. Cheap gas was across the street but seemed like a safe neighborhood. The fitness room is on the 3rd floor which makes for a great view. Kind of a novel idea.

The staff were excellent from start to finish. Check in was easy and they let the pool stay open a little late for us. That was awesome after a long day of traveling.

We would definitely stay again if we were going through Albuquerque again.

We stayed in the HIE Albuquerque Old Town for one night of an 18 day road trip. It was a great place to stay and lived up to the HIE brand. The rooms were comfortable, spacious, modern and clean. The view was beautiful. There is a great restaurant just right down the street and the hotel breakfast was delicious. The staff was friendly. Stay here and you won't be disappointed!

We decided to give this place another try since our last visit out west. I'm glad we did. We reserved our room online on the way to the hotel because were driving from Tucson and were planning on stopping in Albuquerque for the night. I went in, was greeted immediately by the guy at the front desk. He had my keys waiting and I was able to get right to our room. Rooms were very clean and the next morning, breakfast was great. Great location. I love old town Albuquerque so I was glad that we were not that far from it. Hoping to get to stay here again in the future.

We stayed three nights at this HIE right off I-40 in Old Town. The room was spacious, clean and well-appointed. I'd recommend a high numbered room to be opposite the McDonald's and freeway but when we were in room 203 nearest I-40, we could not hear any highway noise. Some rooms have views of the mountains outside of town. The breakfast was only so-so but the selection of choices is good--hot foods, cereals, fruits, yogurt, etc. The breakfast room is bright and sunny with plenty of rooms between tables, which were almost all full all 3 mornings we were there. The staff members were pleasant.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a high number to be farther from McDonald's and I-40

Everyone at this hotel was so friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived with food recommendations and places to see. Room was nice and clean as was the rest of the hotel. Slept soundly and will not hesitate to stay here on our next trip to New Mexico!

Two nights spent on a road trip from Texas to Oregon and possibly the best Holiday Inn we have stayed in for quite some time. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left we were made to feel very welcome with good advice on places to visit given freely and without favour. The suite was roomy, spotlessly clean and the beds very very comfortable. Close to amenities including the Old Town and the Pueblo Cultural Centre. Certainly a place to recommend.

We recently did a 2 1/2 week trip across the country, and this was one of the nicest places we found! Breakfast was better than the old donuts, waffles, watery juice, and coffee that you get in most places. Room was clean. Location was quiet, with a fantastic view of the mountains. Also pet friendly! Friendly front desk staff.
