I brought my fiancé to Albuquerque and had to take him up on the Tram. I'd been on it many times before, but never tire of the experience. He was blown away. The sights and scenery are breathtaking. The ride was smooth and comfortable. Barely any sweaty palms at all! This is the ultimate visitor experience for anyone new to New Mexico.

I came here w some friends from out of state and this is a nice place to be with limited amount of time. Great view! Tram ride was ordinary. Dined at High Finance, great view from there. A must try as there is nothing much to do in the city.

The views from the top make this well worth the trip. Word to the wise: Plan to bring a sweater or light jacket in the spring/fall as it is much colder at the peak than on the ground. The trails offer some beautiful scenery and views so plan to do some hiking once you hit the top. We enjoyed a beverage at the High Finance restaurant, too. The beverage was fine but the service left much to be desired. . . . Visit the park for the views and the trails; there are much better food options in the area.

This is THE place to take out of town visitors. Nothing is quite like a tram ride up and down with a good meal and perhaps a day hike in between. Often, and more usually, I hike La Luz Trail up from the bottom to have lunch on top at the restaurant at the top station, and ride the Tram down: great for saving your knees. A hamburger and beer never tasted so good after that climb. The prices at the restaurant are pretty good for such a remote location where they have to haul everything on the Tram including water. At night the food is more upscale but surprisingly good, and the view is magical. I had the salmon last time I was at dinner several year ago and it was excellent. If you like to hike and don't want to climb so much, a ride up and hike along the rim is very refreshing. Wear or take warmer clothes especially wind protection. It's 20 degrees cooler on top, 5000 feet above Albuquerque.

Didn't eat at restaurant but menu looked good. Would be nice if there was a shuttle service between Old Town/Downtown and tram base.
