We came to Albuquerque for the Balloon Fiesta and felt very lucky to end up at the Heritage House B&B. There is actually two B&Bs next door to each other, with about 4 rooms in each. Both houses were converted into B&Bs within the last 2 years so everything is very nice! They didn't spare any expense renovating the two historic homes. The rooms are deluxe, beds couldn't be more comfortable, fine linens, thick towels, etc. Both houses have great common areas, there is a beautiful back yard with places to sit and enjoy their fountain/waterfall feature.
Their breakfasts were first class. We left the house one morning at 5:45 am for the Balloon Fiesta and they made coffee and prepared a hot breakfast for us to take with us to the Fiesta. Fresh fruit, cheese and crackers, cookies, fruit juices, sodas, bottled water, coffee and tea were always available.
Our hosts, Steve and Kara, couldn't have been any nicer or more helpful.
