What a great spot in Albuquerque! The location is wonderful. We stayed in The Spy House which is filled with history. The Rosenberg Room was a great size with a wonderful bath. A lot of attention has been put into both properties to make them comfortable and meet your needs. The breakfasts were yummy. We appreciated Steve & Kara's restaurant suggestions and the information in sites we were interested. Everything worked out so well. It made our visit to Albuquerque a pleasant one. I would recommend this B & B

We stayed here one night in Feb. 2013, in the Ivy Room in the Heritage House. Every thing about the place was just charming, including our hosts, Steve and Kara. It was a cold sort of snowy night when we were there, the night of The Oscars. So we pretty much just hunkered down and watched TV after walking to Holy Cow down the street for a quick bite. The breakfast was fabulous, wish I could eat there every day! Before we left we checked out the "spy table" (in the Spy House) featured in a recent issue of Southwest Airlines Spirit magazine. Pretty sure we'll stay here if and when our travels take us to Albuquerque again. Would certainly recommend it to anyone! (Sorry so few pictures, we messed the room up before I could get them taken..)

Room Tip: The Ivy Room was great for three people.

Absolutely wonderful place to stay! We used the AAA guidebook and found this B & B. What a find! We stayed in the 'secret garden' room in the Heritage House. Had an incredible breakfast the next morning thanks to owner Steve and then a tour of the Spy House! Attention to detail was superb at all levels! We had to move on as we were heading cross country to NY, but we would have loved to stay longer. Went into Old Town - a simple 8 minute drive away - and to the Albuquerque Museum before heading on our way. Very homey, comfortable and affordable place. Added bonus is definitely the owners! Not to be missed if you are in Albuquerque!

Room Tip: We loved the secret garden room in the Heritage House!

Amazing!! We are locals and visited the b&b for our anniversary, we did the murder mystery dinner and stayed the night. It was so much fun a beautiful environment, so entertaining! Interactive parts that let's you step out of the box for an evening of fun. Food was great, rooms are great, and the owners are super sweet! We will be returning for more fun soon!

Room Tip: We slept in the Ivy room, this room has its own bathroom, sitting room and balcony

With less than one week before our wedding our honeymoon plans to go to New Orleans were derailed. I called and spoke with Kara who was traveling back from California. She was able to get all my reservations for our weekend honeymoon while driving down the interstate!! Talk about great customer service. She was even able to arrange the campaign, chocolates, fruit, massages, and meals. We didn't arrive until after 10 at night, but they met us outside and directed us to the proper driveway. The cottage we stayed in was very well furnished and decorated like a getaway cabin, not a hotel room. One of the nights they were hosting a monthly Murder Mystery event and even brought our 4 course meal directly to our room. Talk about customer service!! We will be back every year for our anniversary.

My husband and I had to go to Albuquerque for a night. We normally stay at one of the airport hotels, which are fine, but decided this time to be different. We love the restaurants on Central Avenue and the Downtown Historic B&B was round the corner. We stayed at the Spy House, in the Rosenberg room. We were welcome on arrival by Steve and one of his very charming daughters. He immediately made us feel at home. We were shown to our room, a very spacious, clean and cosy bedroom, were given a tour of the house and told a little bit about its history - it was a quiet time but we appreciated Steve's attentiveness. In the morning, Steve cooked us a delicious, copious but light, breakfast a little bit before his usual time: we had an early appointment. We enjoyed everything about our stay: the location of the b&b, reasonably close to the airport and with many great restaurants close by, its cleanliness and coziness, the quality of the food. Steve and his daughter were the icing on the cake. What a wonderful place to stay.

This past week I had the wonderful experience of staying in the Historic B&B's Heritage House! I stayed in the Rose Room which is a beautifully appointed and elegantly decorated gold and red bedroom with an adjacent sitting room. The bed was super comfy and I greatly appreciated the fact that each bedroom is individually climate controlled. Each of the four breakfasts I enjoyed were bountiful and delicious. I feasted on fresh fruit, amazing organic egg dishes, crisp bacon and sumptuous pancakes. But best of all, I loved the warm reception and attention I received from the Grant family! I look forward to returning to Albuquerque and this charming exceptionally well run B&B!
