My partner, baby and I were in town to visit family, who surprised us with a room with a king bed. Microwave and mini fridge were included. Comfortable armchair with ottoman was great for breastfeeding. Both the room and bathroom were big enough to fit the portable pack and play we brought. Hot breakfast included daily until 10am (not amazing but nice to have the option). Liked the cookies at check in and 24 hr tea and coffee in the lobby. Great location in walking distance to restaurants, stores, and mall (unusual since Brownsville is not generally very walker friendly). Didn't use the outdoor pool or hot tub but the fitness room had everything we needed - free weights, medicine balls, cardio machines.
Removed a star for spotty WiFi, broken chair at breakfast, and no local paper on the weekend. Overall we were pleasantly surprised and would stay again.

very good staff and comfortable hotel. will stay there again. also close to several stores and restaurants. comfortable room and no problem with security around the hotel. reasonable prices for the room

The breakfast buffet was over the top great. I love Hampton Inn but this one disappointed me. The room was not to my liking. The bed felt old and lumpy and it didn't have a microwave oven or a refrigerator in it.

This hotel's staff makes a huge difference. They make you feel at home and sincerely care for your well being. They are professional and will handle any situation expedisiously. The rate/value is just right and this hotel has been my preffered hotel in Brownsville since they opened. I have also recommended collegues and they as well were quite impressed with the staff.

We arrived the person checking us in was discourteous. Made it seem as if I was bothering her. We had no television service in the hotel and no attempt was made to either discount or make some effort to rectify the situation.

I am very sorry you were inconvenienced during your stay. Please know that this type of service is not customary for our hotel nor is it what we strive for. During the time of your stay there was a lighting/thunderstorm which caused the cable to go out in all of the hotel rooms. This was not an expected situation and we worked with the cable company to help them speed the process up in any way possible. Fortunelty they were able to replace equipment that was struck with lighting and get the cable back up the next day. Our staff did the best they could to accomodate our guests given the situation. We hope that the next time you are in town you give us another chance to serve you. Thank you!

Very good receiving at the front desk, the 3 days stay for a business trip was very confortable with spacious room and clean, breakfast was healty and i really love having fresh coffee at all times.... my only complaint would be the intermittent Wifi connection that was the only issue

I stayed in the hoter for 2 nights, after a week of return to home I checked my account statement and I noticed the Hotel had overcharged me 80 dollars 5 days after I stayed there, I called the Hotel to asked about the problem and the lady that answered me was extremely rude,, when I stayed there people was very nice, but when I called to ask about my problem the lady was very very rude
