A great place for a change of pace from Mexican food when staying in Brownsville. The atmosphere and decor is somewhat hipster, although slightly shopworn. Service is good and the food was surprisingly good. Pasta dishes were not overly large and nicely sauced - we had the seafood spaghetti with white wine sauce and a pasta with proscuitto in a white sauce - but the standout was the manicotti, perhaps the best we have ever had. Pasta delicate, cheese and herbs perfect and the sauce was heavenly. Light cheese topping completed the perfect blend of flavors. We started with sharing a white shrimp pizza, which was the equal of the manicotti. The bill (less tip) was under $100 for three of us, but we did not have any alcohol. Would recommend you try this when in town.
