During our stay in Corpus Christi we had many meals in many places and hind sight this place was one of the best values. The day we visited was cold and cloudy with wind off the bay. Us diners and the staff were all crowded together in the covered part of the patio trying to escape the wind. The food was good and the prices were reasonable.
There seemed to be more staff than patrons and most of the staff were engaged wrapping flatware or visiting amongst themselves. Our waitress was friendly and seemed busy, but no one was helping her. Service was slow which seemed unnecessary with all the staff staring at us while we ate.
I would go back on a sunny day when I could put some space between me and the staff and I would stay longer knowing the waitress will enventually return and I would enjoy the shrimp and beer.
There were a few children around because it was spring break and a few of the staff punctuated their sentences with profanity. If the weather had supported spreading everyone out on the deck maybe we would have been sheltered from the F&%* Bombs.
