Always enjoy visiting Hazel Bazemore Park. The driving loop passes the Neuces River where one can canoe and/or fish and a nice rest area overlooking the park. They also have a couple secluded spots for bird watching. Great place to reconnect.

Been here many times, basically it's just a road that goes down a hill and meets up with a part of the nueces river. WATCH OUT!! lots of snakes when I was there. It's got many nature trails, and oh yeah it was a make out place back in the day. It's patrolled by parks and wildlife and the sheriff's office. Closed at night.

We did the drive through and also got out and walked around. It was worth visiting. We may not have been here at the best time of year???

Loads to do here. Go fishing along the river banks, cook your dinner on one of the many bbq pits available.Kids will have fun on the swings or hiking the trails. Also a favorite among bird watchers.
