Owner description: This beach on Padre Island is a great camping and beach-going spot.

The beach is on national park property so it is very clean and well maintained. Great family environment. Park people are very friendly and helpful. They have a special fat tire wheelchair that you can use for free. No places to eat so bring your own food & drinks.

Malaquite is pretty much secluded beach. if you can ignore seaweed then beach will leave you impressed. Waves are pretty high and intense which something to love while you are in the water.

they have nice showers and changing rooms available with few food options on the visitor center. Beach has clean white sand and lots of low flying birds. If you walk along the shore either side bit far then you will see lots of sand dunes which looks awesome.

it's a wonderful beach in corpus Christi in comparison to other Texas beaches. You have to pay $10/person as entree fees and the south padre shoreline entry gate.
