This place is awesome, At night the place is light up, and magical. If you plan on visiting be forewarned they book up 9 to 12 months in advance. Also in the area in Oregon Caves Nation Monument. Not to far from Grants Pass Oregon, it is a little off the beaten path.

We stayed two nights at the Lilly Pad because the larger treehouses at the main resort were booked. The Lilly Pad is about a mile from the main resort and has its own cooking area, enclosed by mosquito netting. The tree house is up high (but we used the pulley system to hoist all of our bags up, even the heaviest ones). It's quite an experience looking out the windows and seeing nothing but trees. Sandy, the proprietor, cooked us wonderful breakfasts both mornings. My kids loved Score, the Lilly Pad dog who kept watch over us. It was so quiet that the first morning we nearly slept through breakfast!

We squeezed five people into the Lilly Pad, so with our bags there was hardly an inch to spare (we were warned it would be tight). There is a queen sized bed and bunkbeds, plus a cot and mat. The toilet is just in the treehouse with a curtain around it, and the shower is down by the cooking area, so you have to plan your bathroom breaks to avoid walking up and down the hill over and over.

We did the ziplining and Tarzan Swing at the main resort. The guides were friendly, knowledgeable, and fun. We did the half course zip (6 lines), which was just enough. The Tarzan Swing is quite an experience - they pull you up 55 feet into a tree then you let go and swing like crazy.

The main resort seems like more of a camping experience, so if you want a little seclusion, I'd recommend the Lilly Pad.

We stayed two nights in the Majestree. The staff was very helpful. The only activity we did was arts/crafts (tile mosaics) which was fun and we got a nice souvenir out of it. They had to dry overnight and we were leaving early in the morning and Miguel dropped them off to us like at 4 in the morning. Breakfast was okay, kinda crowded, didn't seem to be well organized, only one person working it doing everything (cooking, replenishing, wiping tables etc) but tasty. Clean Treehouse (sways somewhat so if you are the least bit motion sick might try one lower to the ground or on the ground) Lots of free swings/smaller things for kids to do (like a practice zip line right at ground level-kind of like one of those playground ziplines you might sit on) beautiful place, got to feed the horses, pool was pretty, but didn't' go in b/c it was too cold. would recommend for a fun, different experience!

We stayed in the Treeloon (because it had swinging doors like a saloon) and loved it! The entire area was clean, peaceful and natural. The staff was welcoming and informative. The entire resort is smoke free and that is a real bonus! There were a couple of families staying at the same time and that is the way to do it: bring your own tribe! At night, there is a huge bonfire and the families would sit around it, toasting marshmallows and enjoying each other's company. I only stayed one night and wish I had stayed longer! There are horseback riding trails, hiking trails and zip lines to enjoy. The main lodge has tea available at all times and there is a community kitchen where you can prepare meals as well as outdoor grills. It felt a lot like a commune and everyone was really friendly. The breakfast was wonderful with homemade chocolate croissants, pancakes, omelets, scrambled eggs, fruit and other tasty offerings. The coffee was EXCELLENT! The treehouse itself was cozy, tidy and pleasant. There was a mini fridge as well as a mirror and shelf. I slept on the queen bed and my daughter was in the loft. In the morning, I awoke to the sounds of birds and not a single man made sound until I heard some of the other residents awakening. It was so relaxing! There is a pool made of stones that used diverted stream water but it wasn't open yet. It was fascinating and I wish I could have used it! The bathrooms are communal but they were nearby, clean and a couple were heated. The flora was beautiful with lots of different things blooming. Interestingly enough, there weren't a lot of mosquitos, though. I don't know how that happens but it was great. I vow that if the zombie apocalypse ever occurs, there is where I will be hunkered down and I will be living in one of the tree top houses with the rope bridges. If you're smart, you'll check this place out soon and plan ahead as well! :)

Room Tip: Treeloon was only 15 feet or so above ground in the event you have a fear of heights.

This is a treehouse resort/b&b that serves a wonderful breakfast in the main house each morning. They also offer horseback riding and crafts workshops. The tree houses are amazing and bring out the inner child in adults. We stayed in the Serendipitree which was very cozy. Our young daughters enjoyed sleeping in the loft. Great place for a family vacation.

Room Tip: The Serendipitree sleeps comfortably 2 adults and 2 children.

Family of 4 stayed in the cabin (with 3/4 bathroom!) Gorgeous view right into the meadow. Breakfast was delicious - homemade orange cranberry muffins, whole wheat pancakes, scrambled eggs, plus cold cereal options. Our biggest mistake was not realizing how FAR AWAY the closest little town was. Don't forget anything. Bring food for dinner. Many bbqs for your use. Pack food like you're going camping. From foil to plates & forks.

Great place to bring your kids. The treehouses are adorable, but they were all booked. We stayed in the Mastree Bedroom, which offered the comforts of a room in the lodge, with an attached treehouse for my daughter to sleep in. Highlights: the homemade muffins in the morning and the zipline course. Downside: the swimming pool is very small and ice cold, and you have to book far in advance to get a treehouse. We're going to make a reservation now for next year. Be sure to visit the Oregon Caves, which are close by.

Room Tip: Book early.
