Vertical Horizons Treehouse Paradise
Reviewed July 28, 2010

We stayed at Vertical Horizons Treehouse for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. We were a group of 4 and booked two of the treehouses. Jodi is very helpful and guided us well throughout on different activities. Plus, they had a good breakfast every morning. We saw the caves in Cave Junction, Crater Lake and Klamath (in CA on US101) and it was a trip we all enjoyed. The treehouse is also centrally located from many activity/tourist spots and its a place for an ideal 3 - 4 day vacation.

We stayed at Vertical Horizons last summer and LOVED it! Friends of ours met us in California and we drove up to Cave Junction for a few days. In total we had kids ages 15, 13, 10, 9 and 2 years old. They all had a great time too. The townspeople are amazing and friendly. The owners of the treehouses were down to earth and made an amazing breakfast. We went zip lining and horseback riding nearby. It was a truly wonderful experience all the way around.

We stayed at Vertical Horizons/Treehouse paradise from 21-25 July 2008. I heard about the Oregon Treehouses on NW magazine, then viewed the websites. This property wasn't on the radar-no reviews, and it does not show up on a lot of web searches. What I can say-it's somewhat remote by many people's standards, but really-it's just 5 miles from Cave Junction. The layout is very nice-no noise carried from other treehouses. The hosts, Phil and Jody, have provided for excellent constuction standards, bathrooms and small refrigerators in the treehouses, very nice bath houses, an absolutley excellent breakfast, a cool pool & frisbee golf course...the list goes on. Other tree house resorts in the area are different-this one is serene, but activites are available like archery and art stuff. And this place is clean. Our kids ages 1,2,5,8 and 10 loved it, as did another family with kids ages 6 and 8. They have a nice grill, smores at night with the campfire, a couple of good swings-it was a relaxing good time we will repeat next year with more of our family. Bring a cooler with some food/snacks/libations and you're in!
