The Peery Hotel is an oddly-shaped, historical spot in Salt Lake City. The lobby looks like one of those 1920s New York City palaces. Staff are amazing and helpful and went out of their way to help me.
My room was crazy in a good way. Big furniture, huge bed, firm mattress. The door opened so close to the corner of the bed that you couldn't slide a matchbook between them, which was awesome. HUGE bathroom, like half the size of the room as a whole. Great fixtures. Comfy, quiet sleep.
I'd stay here again. The whole experience was novel enough to attract me back, and it takes a lot of novelty to do that. Or does it? Still, great hotel, great people, right price.
