We chose this hotel because the web site said it was five minutes from the airport and we wanted that convenience. However, when we arrived and called the hotel on the courtesy phone, they told us to go to the Express Shuttle desk. The "Express" shuttle was so swamped we had a 40 minute wait (to reach a destination five minutes away)! I called the hotel back to see if we could walk since it was so close, but you can't because of the freeway. A cab would have cost the airport minimum ($12.87) plus. So, be warned, the hotel does not have its own dedicated shuttle (the Hilton does) and you may have to wait to get back and forth to the airport even though it is close by.

The walls are very thin. We were awoken early the next morning by the neighboring room's alarm clock, which was set to polka music and remained on for a good 10 minutes.

The thermostat in our room was nonfunctional--maybe the batteries were dead?

Other than those things, it is a nice enough hotel. The lobby and rooms all look new and nicely decorated. The restaurant and bar in the lobby is good. Beds and bedding are good quality and everything was clean. We had two roooms (one for us and one for my parents). Got a good price through the hotel's web site (special internet only rate if paid in advance).

Great stay at this relatively new Holiday Inn.

The rooms are as described, and if you work hard enough with the TV remote, you can find the sleep timer, it is just not easy. Love love all the outlets around the room, very convenient. Above average hairdryer in the bathroom.

Most outsanding aspect of this hotel is the service. Front desk extremely helpful and friendly. The meal and bar service just fantastic. Everyone made me feel genuinely welcome and wanting me to stay on next business trips. The little touches of after breakfast, supplying to go cups without paying extra really helped me get on the road.

This is not a negative, but being a female traveler on business, I was in the minority. Everyone staying there however was very friendly and business like. The neighborhood is very safe, and although it may not be as convenient as staying downtown, the highways are very easy and it is worth the extra 15 minutes to drive back. If you need alot of dining options, this probably would not be the best place for you.

I heard jet engines one night around 8:30, but it ended about 15 minutes later. I was thinking they had switched runways, but the noise did not repeat itself the next evening.

Good choice to stay here.

This was a wonderful stay at the Holiday Inn. This is a very classy Holiday Inn. Front desk staff were very pleasant, lobby is very nice. Rooms were excellent. Mini fridge, nice size bathroom, comfy beds, flat screen HDTV with plenty of channel selections. Close to the airport, but very quiet. Restaurant was nice, food was good. Kids eat free, which is a plus also. Would recommend this hotel and would stay there again! Only downside that we found is that it is not near any restaurants, so you would need a rental car.
