We enjoyed looking at the sculptures and the kids loved climbing on them. This is a fun and unique place to check out.

Gilgal must be visited; it isn't something one can easily explain. It is not very big (about the size of 3-4 lots), and is easily explored in 20 minutes-though you may want to spend a bit longer taking photos and taking in the stone work. The volunteers who now plant the gardens do a wonderful job of keeping it lovely. It's a great spot for a picnic, and children love wandering around and reading the various carvings. It's next to the Wonder Bread factory, so it usually smells good, too.

Half the fun is just stumbling across Gilgal Gardens-- a small hidden gem of delightful "mormon" sculptures. Be sure to check out the iconic Joseph Smith Sphinx!

It is unique, but hidden away between a Wonder Bread factory and a great older home. The garden contains sculptures carved over several years, some with biblical verses carved in them... There is a statue of the sculptor and his tools.

Utah weirdness at it's finest. Strange carving. Say hello to Mr Brick pants. Joeseph Smith is the Sphinx.
