“A Must to Visit”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 16, 2012

We stop here every time we are in SLC to get taffy. They make the taffy right there in front of you and it is the best around. We also stopped into a restaurant/bar just to have a drink and wish I could remember the name. The bartender was a joy to talk to. We only had drinks because we had just come back from Park City where we had lunch. If we hadn't just eaten we definitely would have at this place.

“What a waste”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 24, 2012

Visited Trolley Square on a specific errand (to go to the Pottery Barn). Left empty-handed, depressed, and somewhat angry. What a waste to see this shopping complex essentially abandoned. The neighborhood is not the best - I'm not sure what they were thinking - but surely some effort could be made to resurrect this 'mall.' Instead, SLC opens up City Creek, which should finally kill of TS (Restoration Hardware has already left for CC) and is likely to weaken The Gateway. SLC needs to get serious. It is not enough to build shopping areas, you need to police them so they are safe and hold events and other gatherings there to bring the foot traffic.

“Most of the shops have been empty”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 3, 2011

Trolley Square is a nice clean old brick-building. But there are not many shops inside. Most of the spaces are empty. It could be a good shopping-place if there would be more shops...
The parking is free and there is a good restaurant inside (a Rodizio-restaurant).
You can reach Temple Square with a bus or train from there.
