We went here for dinner. It cost us $20. The food was very nice. There was a choice of chicken, beef, pork or vegetarian. I had chicken with potatoes and corn- very tasty! It's served cafeteria style.. You walk along and pick what you want. Also included was a salad or soup- I had tomoato soup which was very nice. The desserts were the nicest! There was a good selection and they all looked lovely. I had carrot cake and it was really nice. The building itself is cute. It felt like we were in someone's kitchen! Great location too, lovely to just walk around and admire all of the beautiful flowers outside.

We went here because it was included with the Connect Pass and I'm glad we did. Food was served buffet style, but it wasn't all typical buffet food. We had some delicious chicken and the desserts were scrumptious! It was fast, good, and interesting to eat in an historical home.

Plenty of good solid comfort food served cafeteria style and the rolls are to die for! The roast beef was a bit of a disapppintment, four little squares of beef floating in gravy with potatoes and carrots, should have been billed as beef stew. Everthing else was wonderful and did I mention the rolls?? Dessert was delicious, highly recommend the chocolate cake.

The building is awesome, be sure to take the tour of the Beehive House next door to walk off lunch!

Had a lovely lunch here ... the staff were very pleasant and the young chap behind the counter spotted that we were New Zealanders and knew all about the All Blacks. They bring the buns to you after you have got your meal. Make sure you take your plates and utensils back up to the drop off dishes point - we sort of found that bit out by ourselves ...

The quality of the food in this casual eating location is just matchless. They serve home made foods and lots of it. The bakery should not be missed also. They have the best baked goods anywhere.
