Cafe Trio not far from Liberty Park is a nice place to grab lunch on a sunny day. They have two patio areas and an interior with white table cloth dining. The menu is pretty standard Italian, perhaps a notch above what you tend to find in Utah for lunch places and certainly better than the national chains and sandwich places so many here favor. The grilled artichoke appetizer was very good and special. My friend's ravioli with butternut squash was excellent and my BLT salad was quite good as well (and very generous). Great coffee and desserts.
Really, the only down side was the a bit too loud music piped onto the patio and the proximity of tables with overly loud talking diners (perhaps b/c of the music).
This is not a foodie place, but it is definitely a cut above most lunch places I've encountered here.
