“Wonderful patio, attentive service, good food”
Reviewed October 10, 2012

Cafe Trio not far from Liberty Park is a nice place to grab lunch on a sunny day. They have two patio areas and an interior with white table cloth dining. The menu is pretty standard Italian, perhaps a notch above what you tend to find in Utah for lunch places and certainly better than the national chains and sandwich places so many here favor. The grilled artichoke appetizer was very good and special. My friend's ravioli with butternut squash was excellent and my BLT salad was quite good as well (and very generous). Great coffee and desserts.

Really, the only down side was the a bit too loud music piped onto the patio and the proximity of tables with overly loud talking diners (perhaps b/c of the music).

This is not a foodie place, but it is definitely a cut above most lunch places I've encountered here.

“Don't miss out on the ravioli here”
Reviewed August 24, 2012

We visited this restaurant last year on a college visit, and have been back twice since! We've tried the flatbreads, the pizzas the pastas and the salads. The ravioli is AMAZING, as is everything on the menu. Wonderful!

“Quaint and cute with yummy dishes.”
Reviewed August 17, 2012

We pulled up to a cute corner bistro with a super cool outdoor patio. Sadly it was 107 degrees outside so we opted to eat in. It didn't disappoint. The moder vibe blended well with Italian with exposed brick. We started with the parmesan flatbread and it was yummy. Next I tried a ceasar salad and hands down the dressing was among the best I've tried. My main dish was the Three Cheese Ravioli with Butternut Squash sauce with sage and asiago. It was so delish even the non veggie eater at the table was impressed. The table tried the Carbonara and the Sausage Rigatoni and all got rave reviews. Would definately eat there again!

“Wonderful patio”
Reviewed August 15, 2012

The prices for fresh tasty food can't be beat. The patio is a wonderful place to hang out and enjoy a glass of wine with freinds and family. I love the fact that Trio grows there herbs in the planter boxes in the patio. It is nice to watch the chef or waiters come cut some fresh herbs when they need them.
