We go here often, typically after or before a movie at a nearby multi-screen theater complex. We have introduced many friends to this fine little restaurant and every single one loves the place and always wants to return. There is a great selection of authentically prepared Mediterranean-area dishes, including appetizers, soups, entrees, teas, and desserts. One of us is stuck hard on the chicken kabobs with basmati rice, fried tomato, raw onion, and flatbread; the other of us is stuck just as hard on the chicken pasta curry. One friend always orders the pork tenderloin entree and won't even try anything else!
Prices are very moderate and there is a reasonable variety of choices for wine and beer. The restaurant is anything but formal, has very kitschy decor, and is quite small with about 20 tables. The owner and chef used to be in a downtown Salt Lake City location with the same name, but moved a few years ago to the more suburban and modest building.
We have never been disappointed with anything we have ordered here, and friends who have eaten at similar local restaurants say this food is at least as good as, if not better than, much more expensive places.
