We've enjoyed for many years. Food good. Canyon location is neat and relaxing. We especially enjoy taking others here.

Ruth's Diner has been serving up home cooking for years. The food is absolutely delicious and the atmosphere is even better. Located part way up Emigration Canyon this is a must see if you are visiting Salt Lake City or if you already live here. Weekend brunch is delicious too but be prepared for a line unless you come up early. They have a full bar and the bloody Marys will help you pass the time. Enjoy a visit at Ruth's Diner. You can't go wrong.

Small, cramped, good service, fair value, and good food. Nice decor inside, but nothing too fancy. Tight booth and table seating......wait staff could not walk the aisles side by side. Table and booths are only a couple of feet apart making it real cozy and not too private. Wait staff was very efficient and informed. Food selection was okay with a Meci twist to many of the dishes. Ordered Ruth's breakfast special....two eggs, bacon, hash browns, and pancakes. Hash browns are very good. Bacon was extra crispy, so much so that the taste was lessened.......not how I like it. I would return, but it's not a must do for the first timer.

I come to Ruth's for the Mile High Biscuits- the are the best I have had in Utah. I keep coming back for their fantastic breakfast specials. My favorites are the Caprese Breakfast Sandwich and the Breakfast Quesadilla. The wait is often long on weekends but not so much an issue on weekdays,

Been enjoying lunches at Ruth's during the summer of 2013. The menu is filled with good items. Hamburgers and the meat loaf burger have been suggested by the staff with good results. Since the patio area was made larger it doesn't seem as quiet - tables are close together.
