“Very good food, recommended”
Reviewed April 28, 2013

Excellent Northern Italian cuisine. The service was very friendly and knowledgeable, but a little slow, possibly because we had a large group. The location is very convenient, being only one block from the convention center. If you are looking for a tasty meal and are not in a great hurry, Caffe Molise is an excellent choice.

“GREAT food in downtown SLC”
Reviewed April 19, 2013

I've dine here 2x and both times it was great. Food is varied and delicious. Decent wine list. Nice little neighborhood Italian place very close to the convention center. I will be back.

“Great dinner”
Reviewed April 15, 2013

A large party went to dinner and the waiter was very dedicated to providing good service. He got a little confused when trying to distribute multiple bills, but the food was very good.

“Best Italian Restaurant Around!”
Reviewed March 26, 2013

This is my new favorite Italian restaurant anywhere! The menu is imaginative and everything is cooked to perfection. On the first visit, I had the Pollo Alla Gratella, a grilled breast of chicken served with artichoke hearts, sun-dried tomatoes and gorgonzola cheese. Everything worked so well together and I just knew that was what I'd get the next time I visited. Fortunately for me, this was not the case. On our second visit, I had the Orecchiette Al Salsiccia, a pasta dish with spicy Italian sausage, wild mushrooms, onions and tomatoes. The sauce was light and didn't overwhelm the taste of the ingredients, and the choice of the orecciette was inspired as it acted like tiny bowls which cupped the sauce. So good! Though I was full, I wanted to try one of their desserts and settled on the bread pudding. The dense dessert bread had somewhat the consistency of a baked French toast and was drizzled with a delicious caramel sauce, complimented with blackberries and blueberries. We shared, but still couldn't eat the entire dessert after our sumptuous dinner, but, oh, we wanted to! The only disappointment was a Washington pinot noir. I love Washington wines; this was not the best, but was fine for the meal.
The wait staff was great. They didn't hover and offered good suggestions. They also had personality, which was appreciated!

“Quaint Italian restaurant, good food”
Reviewed March 11, 2013

Tried this place for lunch and the service was good and the food was quickly served. I tried the mushroom polenta and found it very tasty. The folks I was with had a salad and a panini and those looked good as well.
