Description: Texas de Brazil is carving out a whole new experience in dining. The restaurant is an authentic Brazilian-American "Churrascaria" or steakhouse that combines the cuisines of Southern Brazil with the generous spirit of Texas.Treat yourself to our 50-60 item seasonal salad area including appetizers, gourmet vegetables, soups, and salads. Turn your place card to green and prepare to be swarmed by a troop of carvers generously serving various cuts of seasoned beef, lamb, pork, chicken and Brazilian sausage, all accompanied by traditional side items and house-baked Brazilian cheese bread. As you dine endlessly on Brazilian fare, let one of our in-house wine connoisseurs select the perfect pairing from our extensive, award-winning wine lists, or sip on a freshly-made signature cocktail-the Caipirinha. Complete your dining experience with one of our many decadent dessert selections, and then relax with an after-dinner drink, steaming espresso and enjoy the ambiance and service perfection that is uniquely Texas de Brazil.

Went here for Valentine's Day. I had a reservation but stood in line for a half hour, only to be told there would be another hour wait. Isn't this what reservations are for ? I was never offered anything to console the inconvenience of the situation. Starving, I patiently waited. The salad bar was bland and I didn't like 90% of the food. The meat was good but not for the price. BrazaGrill has a much better salad bar and equal quality tasting meat selection. BrazaGrill is also more than half of the price less (about $20/pp). I will absolutely NOT be returning. Waste of time and money!!!

The food is very authentic and good at this restaurant. However, the price is steep! There is no menu, and we made the mistake of not asking what the price was for the dinner before we partook. I think that is part of their strategy.

The service is very good. The bring out excellent cuts of meat, cooked just right. The buffet items were very tasty and the pao do quejo was excellent.

This is a very upscale restaurant and you pay price for it.
You can get just as authentic Brazilian food at other less expensive restaurants in Salt Lake City.

The key to surviving your visit to Texas de Brazil without exploding from excess is to pace yourself when you visit the salad buffet! (Easier said than done!) The range of salads, fish and sushi on the buffet is incredible and they are excellent. Then there is the fresh meat, straight from the spit, served at your table: when you've had enough, you turn the little token they give each diner to red to mean, "please, no more!".... or if you fancy some more, leave the token green side up. Not "cheap" but worth every cent. I would not hesitate to return - on an empty stomach!

Great service, great food, great atmosphere. For a special occasion or business trip you can't go wrong. Yes it is expensive, but it is worth it. The staff is so attentive and the servers are always available to bring you new meats. Our server brought traditional dishes to our table to try. She explained what they are, how they are made. She made recommendations ensured we had the very best experience. Top notch...

All I have to say about this restaurant is to prepare your wallet and your stomach for a beating. It can be a little pricey but is well worth it. The atmosphere is great, the service is even better and the food is absolutely out of this world.
The lamb chops and the bacon wrapped filet mignon are absolutely must haves. All I can recommend here is that you skip breakfast, lunch and the salad bar in preparation to go there because you will want to try everything they have to offer.
Also, save roomfor the deserts (easier said than done) because the Key Lime Pie and Bananas foster are to die for.
