“My first time”
Reviewed May 15, 2013

I was invited by a friend to go to the symphony. I had never been to one and was pleasantly surprised on how much I enjoyed it. You can dress up or just be casual. I always thought you had to be in suit and tie to attend. Would not mind going again and introducing someone new to a wonderful event.

“Utah Symphony Has Become World-Class”
Reviewed May 7, 2013

As long-time symphony goers in Salt Lake City and other places, we feel qualified to say Utah Symphony has become world-class under Thierry Fisher. And the price beats other major symphonies by some distance.

“Great Acustics, Sit in the Middle”
Reviewed April 18, 2013

This is a surprisingly good symphony. Salt Lake City is not known for being a cultural center. If purchase ticket for floor seats I would recommend sitting in the middle.

“Great show”
Reviewed February 9, 2013

We always watch the Symphony's patriotic program while enjoying the mountain air at Deer Valley. They do a fantastic job playing the songs that you are familiar with. My children were excited to see the "star Wars' and "indiana Jones" themes on the program.

“Lovely Music”
Reviewed January 24, 2013

Utahns are very musical, perhaps due to the influence of the LDS church, and the Utah Symphony reflects that. Great music for such a small city. The Utah Symphony is very accessible, and plays for many local events. The summer concerts at Deer valley are wonderful and are free if you bring a blanket and sit on the grass.
