This hotel was a little disappointing, but for the low price it was acceptable overall. The lever which opened and closed the sink drain in the bathroom was broken and the drain had to be manipulated manually to keep it open. The housekeeper did not replace the bath mat or remove the shower mat from the bathtub on my second day, and she also did not replace the washcloths. Other than these things, the place was comfortable, and the A/C worked really well on these 100 degree days. The bed and pillows were also perfectly comfortable. The clerk who was working the front desk appreciated the information about the faults when I brought them up with him. I did also miss a couple of amenities, such as a refrigerator and a microwave.

Front desk let a call through to our room at 1:30 a.m. The caller said HE was the front desk, asked me if I was in room x. when i said yes,he said I had to come down immediately to re-register. I declined to walk through the dark outdoor hallways and parking lot, called the front desk, and the woman that answered said there was no guy working there. What hotel that cares about your safety passes potentially dangerous calls to guests? Who wants to try to sleep with furniture barricaded against the door?

Stopped here for one night while driving from Las Vegas to Yellowstone. Looking for an inexpensive hotel just to sleep and shower. Well, after reading reviews here we decided to stay here. Room was ok, kind of on the smaller side. Bathroom was small and shower was even smaller! It was so small, none of us even used it! I have to say the beds were very comfortable, even for someone with a bad back. Good motel if you just want a good night's sleep. We walked 1 to 2 miles to Temple Square. Other than that, there is nothing to do in this town. Super quiet and seemed a little deserted.

Room Tip: Ask if they have rooms with a bigger shower, maybe ours was a fluke!

We stayed at this hotel for 3 days...long enough to see that there were always unsavory characters lurking about. One night two guys were parked beside my car and I didn't feel like it was safe to go out there. I told the lady at the front desk, all she said was " I'll get Brian to check it out" when I asked later what she found out she had not had "Brian" go check yet. We were even warned about this place from a policeman. But we didn't want to go to the trouble of changing hotels. The only good thing about this place were the beds and the location. The weren't enough outlets, no refrigerator and although we were there three days no one ever cleaned the room or brought new clean towels. I would not stay here again.

TemperPedic beds are a plus.
Their system was down when I checked in. The guy at the front desk asked me to sit and wait.
The elevator makes noises that made me think it was going to fall apart on me. The room had water stains on the ceiling. bathroom was small. The shower had cracked tiles and it did not look clean. Little to no counter space.
There is no mini fridge! The dresser is the tv stand and my drawers would not close right.
This place needs outlets! I had to charge my phone in the bathroom.
The room is dimly lit and the desk is just a small round table placed in an awkward place. The chairs had stains on them too.
I've stayed a a lot of places within this price range and this is definitely on the lower end.
Last but not least, the walls are thin!
I can hear the people next door and they were just having a simple conversation.
I do not suggest staying here. A motel 6 would have the same quality and it would be $20 cheaper.

This is a very reasonably priced motel in a very good location in the heart of SLC. The rooms are relatively large, very clean, and very comfortable. The staff are nice. We needed a night in SLC before flying out and this was a very good choice.

Room Tip: They will match the price on Bookings.com which knocks about $15 off the price quoted at the desk.

I stayed here while attending a conference at the Salt Palace. The location is within walking distance of downtown SLC. Rooms were clean. Bathroom was quite small and the tile floor was freezing, but it was an inexpensive option for travelers. Beds are tempurpedic and very comfy. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Free continental breakfast was as expected. Fresh donuts, muffins, toast, bagels, cream cheese, oatmeal, apples, oranges, banana, OJ, coffee and hot chocolate. Perfect for a light breakfast.
