We took this tour with my brother and sister-in-law. We all really enjoyed it. The tour guide was funny. We learned a lot and saw everything we wanted to. They'd served Coke and Cracker Jacks. We would definitely recommend it.More

Hey! Thank you for the brilliant review, and strong recommendation. We hope lots of other people will feel the same when they take "The Old-Fashioned Fun Trolley Ride Through Time!"
We were picked promptly at 8:45 am. Our tour guide, Glenn, was awesome. He gave us so much interesting information about Salt Lake City, and the state of Utah. He has a great sense of humor, and talked freely to the four of us on the tour. I wish all tour guides were like Glenn. He is one of the best.
We were all over Salt Lake City. Each stop was interesting in it's own way. We had lunch at the Lion House. The food was so delicious. They gave you plenty of food for the money. Be sure to try the rolls and one of their desserts.
There were flowers all over the Temple area. The flowers were beautiful. All over were spring flowers blooming. One of my favorite sights was all the spring flowers.
Flattery will get you everywhere! Our wonderful guests give us "the most flattering comments". Seriously, we love that you loved the tour.
We had one day in Salt Lake City and with no time to waste this was the perfect way to see it. Glen was pleasant and most informative. Lion House was a lovely little spot for lunch and even if organ music is not your thing just seeing it and the skill involved in playing it is amazing. Highly recommend this tour of clean, quiet and friendly city.
We loved having you on the tour and getting to know you and your wonderful husband.
All of us here want to be just like him when we reach our 90's!!
Michael did a great job on guiding the tour group. His vast knowledge of the stories of Salt lake City is impressive. Without his stories, I'd have missed out on a lot and been like other hapless tourists just casually snapping random photos of intriguing architecture yet walking away with no appreciation for what I just saw. Michael presented a cordial and friendly demeanor throughout the day and the itinerary was well planned and entertaining.
- The lunch stop in an authentic pioneer home proved to be an excellent choice that all in our group seemed to thoroughly enjoy. Don't pass up on the famous white rolls and honey butter. As it is operated by Mormons, there was no coffee or alcohol to be found.
- The pipe organ was a treat. Having seen pipe organs throughout Europe, this one was phenomenal and not to be missed. Bravo
- The halls of government, state and local, are a visual treat and I shall not soon forget the infamous pumpkin tale--pay attention when you get there.
- The only blemish on this otherwise brilliant tour would be that the bus was 10 minutes late for pickup at my hotel. It causes me anxiety as I wonder if I'm standing in the right spot or a myriad of other possibilities that may result in my missing the tour. A phone call from the tour director or dispatch office notifying me of a delay would've been appreciated. Perhaps another suggestion to the tour director, make an announcement to all patrons that cellular phone calls should not be taken while on the vehicle. One would think this goes without saying, but such was not the case on my tour. Perhaps a sign prohibiting the use of cellular devices could be situated inside the vehicle for all patrons to see.
A brilliant touring experience overall. Highly recommended.
Awesome review! Thank you kindly for all your comments. We greatly appreciate every word and your thoughtful ideas on how we can improve the quality of our tours. A courtesy sign about cell phones is 'in the works' and dispatch has been notified to stay on top of notices to our patrons, if there are any traffic problems that may cause a time delay for pick up times.
We used to live in Utah and would visit the lights downtown Salt Lake it's an awesome sight to behold
Thank you so much. Our sincere appreciation for taking the time to comment.
John Knight...have already highly recommended him. He made the tour so very interesting. Was able to answer all our questions...and there were many.
We love your review and also love questions. All our professor-guides are "uber" qualified for questions. Their enthusiasm is unmatched in our opinion.
