$50 on priceline on July 4th for this hotel. Nice lobby and rooms are standards nice on appearance (comfy bed and pillows, large flat screen TV, decent bathroom). Breakfast was not included.

Cleanliness...
However, the sheets on the bed smelled funny -- like menthol or something. Also, one of the towels in the bathroom was stained with blood or rust -- unclear.

Parking...
They were trying to charge $15 for parking. Street parking was free for the holiday, we just had to move it or pay to park by 8am. The hotel staff tried to tell us that all cars on the street had to be cleared out at night; there was no sign, just something "that everyone knew." We ignored this "advice" and nothing happened to our car -- we were annoyed that they were trying to scare us into using their exorbitantly overpriced valet parking.

Area...
This area of town was also pretty deserted even though it is supposed to be downtown SLC. one a positive note, it was only 3 blocks from a few good restaurants and the Red Rock BrewCo, which was a plus.

Overall, would not care to stay here again.

Thank you for your review! We are thrilled that you received a great deal on our hotel and enjoyed our lobby, rooms and location. I am sorry that you were disappointed in cleanliness and parking. We are proud of the housekeeping we provide to our guests and hold ourselves to a high standard for cleanliness. The issues you noted are being addressed right now to prevent it from happening again. I also apologize for making you feel pressured to pay for parking. Our staff receive no incentives to sell parking and provide information in an effort to protect our guests from any negative experiences such as parking tickets. The parking meters in front of our facility indicate a 2-hour maximum, so we do not feel confident in recommending these spaces for overnight parking. I hope you will consider returning to our hotel and give us another chance to exceed your expectations.

We stayed downtown Salt Lake City on the return leg of our Road Trip from Canada. we got a great deal on Hotwire and were greatly surprised with the result. we got to the hotel to check in and the hotel had put us in adjoing/connecting rooms so we could open these up to each other if we wanted. we got some great advice on places to go and have some locally brewed beer. The hotel is in a great location with a tram stop outside the door.
The rooms were modern and the shower was fantastic! beds were incredibly comfortable (probably one of the best nights sleep I'd had on the trip)

Attended a convention and stayed here - the hotel was ok - basic - but food options were pricy. Had phone calls in the middle of the night from the front desk staff confiming I was in the room - What the heck??? Seriously!
Beds were ok.
Location is good for sight seeing - close to Temple Square, Convention Center and easy to walk to the mall and catch the transit.

I stayed in the Radisson for a week, while attending an event at the Salt Palace Convention center behind it. The front desk staff on the weekends were friendly, but the M-F staff was defensive and surly. The rooms are small and clean enough when we checked in, but the cleaning staff did only a cursory job cleaning during the week we were there. My roommate used some powder make-up and left a little powder on the desk in front of the mirror in the room. Soaps, lotions, and shampoos were not replenished when we used it (in that they didn't bother to leave a new, unused soap or lotion or shampoo bottles after it was obvious they had been used). When we went to the front desk to tell them about the soaps and cleaning, and to ask that we get some more soap because the only one we had was so used up I had to crush it into a little ball to make it last a little longer, the desk staff were defensive and surly. Then they didn't clean nor give us more soap. When my roommate called down to the front desk to ask for some soap, she had to explan three times that we just wanted more soap. A few minutes later, they sent up housekeeping with a whole set of towels. When we said we just wanted soap and no more cleaning, they were confused because the front desk told them we wanted a complete service. Other minor things that were annoying but I could live with included a window that, although it had a nice view of the mountains, faced out to the tram on the street, which was LOUD. the air conditioner also rattled loudly off and on all night/day. The rooms were fairly small, and felt kind of tight for 2 people (not a couple). Overall, it was conveniently located, and in general an okay place, but for the super surly staff and really poor cleaning service.
