Had dinner with coworkers at the Copper Onion while at a conference in Salt Lake City. The restaurant came highly recommended by locals we met while attending the conference, and the meal did not disappoint!!
Among coworkers we had a variety of entrees represented at the table including the Rainbow Trout, Ballard Farm Griddled Pork Chop, and the House Meatloaf (yes, meatloaf, lol) dishes. On whim I ordered Cast Iron Mary’s Chicken.
While, everyone was extremely pleased by their dinners, I have to be perfectly honest with you... that was THE BEST chicken entree I have ever had! The flavors were absolutely amazing!!
We stayed all week in Salt Lake and tried many restaurants that were highly recommend online and by locals, but the concensus was that this was the best meal we had, by far.
The ambiance of this restaurant is lively and hip. The dinning area is a bit tight, but not uncomfortable. Bar area was very cool as well.
If you're a foodie or in town looking for a tremendous meal, you must try the Copper Onion.
