I was with a party of 3 on a business trip staying at the Grande America about 5 blocks away, and this place was recommended by the concierge. The restaurant was screaming busy on a Thursday night and the wait was about 45 minutes. That was no problem though, because the Maitre D' of the restaurant was very attentive to the parties waiting to be seated. During the wait, we started off with some tap beers, and tried some of their Warm Mushrooms, Shishito Peppers and their Brussel Sprouts from the Bar Menu. They were all very delicious! I grew up hating brussel sprouts as they were always overcooked, and cooked with an overkill of italian dressing. But, the way that the chef prepared them here made them taste like crisp, buttery cabbage slightly flavored with a hint of lemon and olive oil. So simple, but so tasteful. I will be trying my own version of such soon when brussel sprouts are in season.
If you stop by, and I highly recommend doing so, this place should not disappoint. Prepare to wait, though. It is a very popular local spot, and you need to be somewhat assertive in the lobby in you want a drink/appetizers to pass the time. It will all be well worth it. Our dinner was full of flavor, fresh, and used high quality ingredients. I tried the Snake River Zabuton Steak, and it was melt in your mouth (served medium rare), flavorful, and a high quality grade. I don't beleive the menu stated that it was USDA Prime, but the flavor and tenderness made it seem so.
