This is a wonderful hotel for parents of children at Primary Children's center. The rooms are quite nice and comforting, with empty refrigerator and microwave (!!). The staff is wonderful, and the location within walking distance of the hospital can't be beat. You can arrange to have luggage delivered from the hospital (again, !!) My only cautions are to ask about weddings with loud music playing until 11 pm, and know that while local restuarants will deliver, there is no restaurant on site and no true room service. The breakfast is very nice, the fitness room is high end, and the lobby with board games and guests from all over the world is welcoming. Coolio.

Thank you for your review. I appreciate all the wonderful things you have to say. I apologize for the loud music from the wedding. I will look into the details of what happened with this event and find a solution.

I am glad you mentioned our partnership with the hospital. For the last year we have been working with the hospital and making it possible to check in at the hospital, and have your luggage delivered. This program is going very well. This service has been limited to business hours however starting in January we will have it running 24/7.

A room across from the elevator is usually every business traveler's nightmare (that and the one beside the ice maker.) Their elevator seemed to whisper the doors open and shut and the guests seemed like they tiptoed right past my door. So nice. Pleasantly surprised. Thanks for removing the "ding" (the bell) every time the doors open or close. Wish all hotels had that policy.
Your staff was helpful. I really appreciated the free shuttle to the hospital, the inexpensive food choices in your cooler by the desk, the free computers in the lobby, and the GREAT bed. The only thing that could use improvement would be an easier path from the light rail stop to your door. There's no sidewalk and not a nearby crosswalk. I walked and extra half mile with my suitcase before realizing where I should be, and their didn't seem to be an easy location for a shuttle pick up, had I thought to ask. Maybe you can make a suggestion to the city planners. At the very least, it wasn't very safe walking alongside the busy road to catch my train.

Room Tip: Request one with a view.

Thank you for your review and all the wonderful things you have to say about the Guest House. There actually is a sidewalk from the TRAX station to the Guest House. I can see how it would be easily missed if you didn't know it was there. There is a pedestrian bridge about 15 yards north of the stop. There is even an elevator to take you to the top so that you don't have to use the stairs. I am sorry that you missed it. We would never recommend that a guest walk up the busy road from the TRAX stop to the hotel. To get to TRAX from the hotel front door you can walk south past the yellow chapel, turn right and head right across the bridge. It is about a 5 minute walk. Also, in April 2013 the TRAX will go to the airport which will make this method of travel even more convenient for our guests. Again, thanks for your review. Hope to see you next time you are in Salt Lake City.

The Guest House is a welcoming place. I was there for a residency interview, and my only complaint was that cell service was spotty in my room. The hot breakfast, internet access, and selection of TV channels is fantastic.

What an awesome hotel, extremely friendly and helpful staff! The room was spacious, clean, and great bathroom. The breakfast the next morning was fantastic. The rate is very affordable, under $100 is an excellent value although I may have been paying a corporate rate.

Thanks for your review. It seems the trend in the industry is to nickel and dime the guest for all you can. We definitely feel this is NOT the way to go and I appreciate you for pointing that out. We are now serving complimentary hot cider, hot chocolate and in the evenings cookies.

Such a unique and beautiful location next to campus. Views from the hotel are amazing! Every single staff member was extremely kind and helpful at all times. A wonderful complimentary breakfast was available that included eggs, bacon, fruit, pastries and cereal. I am not a coffee drinker so it was a pleasure to have a large variety of teas available at all times. There was also a Keurig in the room in case you did not want to go to the lobby for a hot drink. In the afternoon the hotel placed warm cookies and hot cider out for all the guests. What a treat!
