My wife was given a gift certificate from her company for Meditrina. We had actually never heard of them, and were surprised to find it tucked away behind the Bee's ball field. The website looked very promising, so we were very much looking forward to eating there. We arrived on a very cold Thursday evening, and were seated along the side wall. One downside as others have mentioned was the very drafty front entrance. The room was on the cool side, but the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We had a slight delay on our waiter initially stopping by, but after a few minutes we were promptly taken care of. The server was named Josh and was extremely knowledgeable on the food and history of the restaurant. The menu was initially not too customer friendly, as it contained dozens of options in a plain fine printed text. We were not sure where to start, but Josh quickly gave us his recommendations and helped guide us through the experience. The tapas were delightful, and we tried 6 variations plus the drunken oreo dessert. This restaurant is not to be missed if your looking to get away from the typical chain. Josh mentioned that we should plan to eat there in the summer, when the patio is open. If I enjoyed this place on an icy winter evening, I can only imagine how great it is in the summer. We will be back!
