“Fun”
Reviewed February 28, 2013

This is a nice, large park. Fireworks show for 4th of July, fun water works stuff for kids, and plenty of places to picnic or just walk. Not amazing, but nice.

My son had a grand time there!! He only did half of what he wanted to do that day. Lots of water attractions and a merry-go-round. Street vendors . Alot of fun!!

“Jewel in the City”
Reviewed February 1, 2013

This is great asset to SLC!
A fun place for families or singles.
This well maintained park offers a large playground, large lake, many tennis courts, concerts in the summer, jogging, skating, biking paths and many other opportunities for recreation! Large enough to find a quiet spot for reading or reflection.

nice place for a jog if you want a decently large loop, but overall I don't like the park all that much. Lots of drum circles and medieval swordplay people detract from the relaxing atmosphere that I like when I go to parks. But to each their own.

“Excellent place to recreate, relax, and recoup”
Reviewed January 21, 2013

The size of the park and its offerings are diverse and dynamic. The Tracey Aviary is the greatest gem here, but don't make that your only reason to visit Liberty Park.

Jogging, tennis (indoor and outdoor), swimming, picnics, horesshoes, a great pond, and classic people watching are just a handful of the activities that this park supports.

Its proximity to 9th & 9th in the city is also very beneficial. They also have overnight parking, kind of strange, if you are so inclined or need a place to park and get some sleep on a budget road trip.
