“Ask for directions!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 18, 2013

Don't assume the first couple digits of your room number is the floor, ask directions! Great hotel, not so much if your mobility is limited, lots of walking kind of up and down stairs. Clean, nice staff. Lots of space in conference rooms but cold, as usual! All together great stay! Not too many food options, pack a lunch, or late night snack.

This hotel was one of the worst we have ever stayed at. The decor in the "motel" section of the property where we stayed was a flower pattern with gold trim that I haven't seen ever before. It looked like some old England countryside dated room that wasn't very nice. The bathroom was pink tile throughout. The tub didn't drain while the shower ran either. All the furniture in the room was also very dated. The location was near downtown but when we arrived on a Monday night it was like a ghost town and nothing was open. Had them order a cab for us to arrive at a certain time and they failed to do so but then blamed that someone stole the cab instead of just saying they didn't order it. We were outside the whole time and no cab ever came. Will not stay at any Little America hotel again.

Excellent hotel for a conference. Guest room was well equipped, large, clean and comfortable. The decor could use an update. Staff was pleasant and accommodating, I would stay here again. The food in the restaurant was good as well.

The hotel is directly across the street from its sister hotel, The Grand America. It is nicely landscaped and parking was convenient and close to our room. The room was quite spacious, comfortable, and clean. The beds were comfortable as were the pillows. I enjoy having the extra sink outside of the room so I can do my hair, etc. while my husband showers. Saves considerable time. The decor is reminiscent of my grandmother's home and could be updated a bit, but it was not a considerable detraction. Breakfast was both buffet or cooked to order. The buffet was quite extensive. Staff was very considerate and friendly.

Room Tip: Rooms can face the street or inside the complex. We chose to face the complex as the street seemed...

Wasn't sure what to expect as I reserved online based on reviews. We stayed in the lower older section. We reserved a room w/ 2 beds but they gave us one bed so switched and new room also one bed! 3rd times a charm as we got 2 comfy beds BUT on busy street side. Ask for room over parking area and its much quieter! Room was nice, spacious, clean but would have been nice to have a noise diffuser. Traffic all night. :( Next time we'll know better. Restaurant very busy but good service and varied menu. Lots of conventions here and tons of rooms so can be a line waiting at dinner time. Fri. night and 2 of us waited 15 min. so not bad. Free busline to the Mall which was nice and quick. HUGE mall, close to Temple Square. Great shopping and nicely designed. Overall, nice experience and we'll be back!

Room Tip: If you go for the lower priced rooms (non tower) ask to be on an inside parking lot side room as the...

The room was really nice. It looked clean, it felt clean, it smelled clean, I think it might have been clean. The bed was comfy, I slept like a baby if babies slept through the night. The room service dude was really nice, the lady who checked me in was super nice. The location is right downtown, they have plenty of free parking. I would for sure stay here again and definitely recommend it.

This was a hidden gem. While staying there, I learned that the owners select the appointments for each of their hotels personally. The service was awesome and the hotel was beautiful. I have recommended it to many friends and really enjoyed my stay. Its location is convenient to everything!
