“perfect location for ski trips”
Reviewed April 4, 2013

The hotel is satisfactory average:
- room reasonably clean, nice. Good heating but very thin bed-covers. Which in winter means either wasting electricity (and ending up with dry skin in the morning) or shivering with cold in the morning hours.
- breakfest the average hotel type (but with waffles, hard boiled eggs, yogurt and fresh fruit - which is nice if you will need that energy during the day)
- the pool area / hot tub was closed when I was there (so no review: sort of minus - as I really hoped for one)
- the small gym they have is a nice extra
- and the elevator is great when you get back from the ski slopes
I had minimum interactions with the service people so I cannot judge hrere.

I went there for a ski trip, and that's where the hotel scores the highest.
Right by an exit of the major highway that can take you smoothly to at least 8 major area ski resorts (25-45miles away): 4 ski areas in Little&Big Cottonwood canyons, 3 ski areas in Park City area and even SnowBasin. So staying here is a great deal to ski all over the place without paying expensive resort prices and being stuck with one option only.

The internet only worked sporadically in our room. They told us to bring our computer to the front desk but it was obviously the routers near the room. The place is old and needs a major remodel. This is not what you would expect from a Ramada Inn. Maybe a very small notch above motel 6 at best. Continental breakfast was a joke.

totally dissatisfied with the service --after leaving the room we discovered that we had left a sack of merchanidise we had purchased at victoria secret -- we returned to the motel to recover it from the maids cleaning department only to find that every one had amnisica and had no clue what happened to our merchandise -- obviouly the maids on duty had blatenly stolen our stuff instead of trying to at least make an attempt to return what we had left and was not theirs to take.

i have stayed at this motel for almost the last 10 years every time im in salt lake city and always felt that my satisfaction was garranteed to me by a quality establishment.

but now i have grave doubts -- the merchandise was valued at over $150 dollars and since it was obvious that your managers and staff were not willing to check their security cameras and or talk to the staff that cleaned our rooms to find out who took our stuff -- then our only option was to go back to the store and make another purchase of the missing items -- spending an additional $150.00

we live in wyoming and it is hard to find this merchandise in our rural area so we lost out big time -- i feel that this is no way to provide quality service to your customers and im totally dissatisfied because of it

i have called my visa card company and put the room charges in dispute cause to put it very lightly im not satisfied with the service recieved.
