A fabulous B&B at the entrance to Olympic National Park. We felt totally "at home" from the moment we arrived. The artfully presented and delicious breakfasts, the delicious cookies, the comfortable rooms with cozy yellow bathrobes and the wonderful hospitality of Bob and Jan make this B&B a must stay!

Jan and Bob made us feel at home with their hospitality and affinity for details that made the stay outstanding. The Summer Room was comfy with its own gas fireplace that took away the morning chill. The gardens were beautiful, the breakfasts delicious and the cookies scrumptious. Bob is known for his cookies which come close to being reason enough for the stay. He prepared a bag breakfast the morning we went to Victoria. Then he took us to the ferry and was there to pick us up when we returned after 9:30 p.m. Wow! What service.

Bob and Jan know how to make you feel at home. The breakfast is excellent and prepared with much love. The same applies to the details in the house. We had the summer room, which is nice and quiet (with a privat parking spot on the backside of the house). Every morning Bob and Jan planned our trips for that day (well informed about the weather and things to do). So we could see very much (as close to everything...) in three days. Especially this personal advice makes this b&b excellent, this is what you hope to find when you book a b&b (and regarding the one and only review which mentions the street noise: at night it is quiet, no worries about that)

After a dozen stays, and after having managed our own 4-star B&B for 9 years, we feel qualified to state without reservation that the Five SeaSuns is one of the best B&Bs on the Olympic Peninsula. Going over the reviews, we noted one “nice, but noisy” comment. Our response is: during the day, why wasn’t this guest out enjoying the magnificent sights of the Olympic National Park, the Rain Forest, Cape Flattery, etc.; for it is then that some traffic noise might be noticeable. In the evening that sound goes away and one can enjoy Jan and Bob’s cookies, coffee, knowledgeable conversation, and a great night sleep while they plan ways to maximize their guests' time for the following day. When staying at the Five SeaSuns, one wants to be in the area as long as possible to benefit from its treasures. – Madeleine and John, France

We spent a week here during the lavender festival. Bob and Jan truely love their inn and it shows in their hospitality, attention to detail in decor, excellence in cooking, and garden design. Bob's dutch babies and cookies make for a great beginning and ending to the day. Their hospitality is great! Bag lunches for the trip to Victoria or breakfast to go when we had to leave early. Bob and Jan have great ideas for day trips and good places to eat! They are wonderful! You're gonna like your stay here.

1) Loved the owners--Bob & Jan were a treat to have around. They were full of information about what to see while in the area for the long weekend. I especially appreciated their recommendation to go to Marymere Falls. They were kind and funny at breakfast. And speaking of breakfast!
2) LOVED breakfast. It was delicious! And the coffee was a delight delivered to my door!
3) WINTER is the loveliest room ever. The fireplace made it cozy at night even though it wasn't cold out. And I just loved the other-world decor. I felt like I took a trip back in time--to a very good place of course.
I left with a full belly and very relaxed. Thanks for the memorable stay! I'll definitely be back soon!
