“A romantic getaway”
Reviewed September 27, 2013

This was our first stay ever at a B&B, and my partner and I were immediately taken with this place. We stayed in the Marie Antoinette room and absolutely loved it. The view from our window was absolutely breathtaking- a gorgeous garden and in the near distance was the ocean. Our room was impeccably clean and cozy. The breakfast was hearty and well prepared by our wonderful host Lydia. The romantic walk through the garden and to the seaside cliff was amazing and a great way to unwind from a long day of driving. Our stay at the Sea Cliff Gardens was an elegant dream sprinkled with fairy dust.

We came to Sea Cliff Gardens after leaving another hotel which we found uncomfortable and overpriced. Lydia at Sea Cliffs welcomed us to her gorgeous b and b, where we were treated with warmth and attention. The owners have thought of every detail, from digital scales inside the front door for those who might need to weigh their luggage before a flight to several kinds of milk on hand for those having an afternoon cup of coffee to a fabulous dvd collection for rainy days. Our room and bath were spacious and beautifully furnished. The breakfast was as pretty as it was tasty and plentiful. Best of all, the gardens and sea cliff that give the property its name are simply breathtaking. I have already recommended this inn to family and friends and hope that we can get there again someday.

My husband and I recently stayed at this wonderful B&B. This property was built 15 years ago as a B&B. All rooms overlook the wonderful gardens which usually have a wonderful view (from what I've been told) of the surrounding area. Unfortunately, we never got to see the view as the area lived up to it's reputation while we were there. Both days low clouds hung over the shoreline and we didn't get a chance to try out the binoculars provided for guests. Fortified by the delicious, huge breakfasts provided by Lydia, the property provided a good base for us to hike in Olympic National Park. It was, though, a 2-hour drive to get to the Hoh rain forest and the beaches (which are a must-see). We would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: All the rooms have the same wonderful view.

My wife and I have stayed at many B & B's over the years and this was one of the best of the best. The setting is perfect overlooking the Strait of Juan de Fuca. The property with its beautiful garden is spotless. The innkeeper/chef Lydia was very attentive and always ready to answer questions. The breakfasts were gourmet and a "take-out" breakfast was available for those with early plans. We will definitely plan a return visit.

A back yard that overlooks the sea. A garden with over 10,000 plants. Antique furniture in every room. Comfort...hospitality..and a view. No detail is overlooked. Even those who are not drawn to a Victorian theme should give this a try. The amenities couldn't be better. If that were not enough, did I mention Chef Lydia. Breakfast is a feast! Lydia is a wonderful hostess and really added to the whole experiene. We will not forget this one! This is the gold standard of bed and breakfasts.

My husband and I stayed at the Sea Cliff Gardens for 2 nights and were so impressed. The house is grand and immaculate. The gardens are just beautiful as well as the view of the ocean from our room. We have stayed at several B&B's and none compare. Lydia is helpful with whatever you need and breakfast is fantastic. It was a great stay! You cannot go wrong choosing the Sea Cliff Gardens. If we ever get back to this area we will definitely stay here again.

Just returned from this lovely B&B. Wow. The sea-cliff location is amazing, the rooms are large and immaculate, every possible need of guests has been anticipated, and the breakfasts were fantastic. Every had dessert with breakfast? Trust me--you'll love it! Lydia is both chef and innkeeper, and she is not only excellent at both, but very personable and helpful. This is a great spot to use as a base for exploring the Hurricane Ridge and Lake Crescent areas of Olympic National Park.
