My husband and i stayed at this beautiful B and B after dropping our youngest at the U of W...we sailed away, sad, yet grateful and landed here, at the Sea Cliff Gardens for a wonderful two night stay. The bed was amazingly soft and comfy. We saw a bald eagle and eaglets. We ate an amazing breakfast...was packed a to-go style breakfast for our ferry...slept like babies and rested deeply. The sunset was remarkable. The owners, kind, thoughtful and very welcoming. A real gem.

Room Tip: We had the big room upstairs with a whirl pool tub and king bed....heavenly.

We stayed here at the beginning of our trip to Olympic National Park. As we drove through the neighborhood, our expectations were not high but as soon as we turned into the driveway, we knew we were in for a treat.

We travel for several months each year and this was the most well-appointed bed & breakfast we've ever encountered. As soon as we checked in, we walked through the wonderful gardens on 2 1/2 acres to the sea. The 40 foot cliffs gave way to wonderful vistas. As my wife took a picture, a bald eagle soared a few feet over our heads and was kind enough to return to have its own picture taken. Visit the inn's Facebook page to see the full gallery especially of the gardens.

Breakfast was different every morning and was a good as any we've had on our travels. The hard part was saying "no more please."

Again not expecting much of the nearby town we were surprised and pleased to find so many good dining opportunities. Once again, the innkeepers do a great job of making recommendations.

We wish this inn was on the east coast so we could visit more often.

There's nothing you'll need that the owner and innkeepers haven't anticipated.

Room Tip: All the rooms have a view of the gardens and the sea.

Sea Cliff Gardens B&B is beyond your expectations. Truly amazing. The rooms are spacious and inviting. The views of the garden and Strait of Juan Fucca are spectacular. The gourmet breakfast is made fresh daily by Chef Lydia. You can't find a more delicious breakfast. The gardens, maintained by Bonnie-owner, are beautiful. Both Lydia and Bonnie are two of the nicest people you would ever want to meet. I just wish we weren't 3000 miles away on the East Coast because we would visit Sea Cliffs at least once a month. My husband and I stayed four nights in August. Gene andJackie, Baltimore, MD

Room Tip: Every room is fabulous! You won't be disappointed!

"HoldenKathy" offered a very thorough review and we concur wholeheartedly! Beautiful gardens, gorgeous water view, quiet location, and fabulous breakfast! The amenities were also thoughtful and abundant. What chain hotel offers round the clock beverages, ear plugs, Off insect repellent, ziplock bags, a DVD library, and even reading glasses? Plenty of info about local restaurants and attractions was available along with recommendations from the innkeeper. This all made our stay most enjoyable. Our room (Victoria's Repose) was very spacious and we thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub on the deck. We would highly recommend Sea Cliff Gardens!

You cannot do better than Sea Cliff Gardens for a wonderful, comfortable stay. I can't think of enough superlatives to describe our recent 4 night stay. The location is great: in a quiet residential area on a bluff overlooking the Straits of Juan de Fuca, with Vancouver Island across the way. A beautiful little shade garden in the front. A spectacular allee bordered with colorful flowers and shrubs. The rooms are all spacious, filled with antiques and wonderful bedding and all overlooking the back gardens to the Straits. The baths are large. The 3 course breakfast is over the top: wonderful fruit starter, creative eggs/meats/ starches, a sweet finisher. You won't need lunch after these breakfasts! The breakfast is served to all guests at 8:30 at a large, beautifully set common table overlooking the gardens and you get to meet the other guests and share touring tips. There is coffee & tea out in the a.m. & p.m. Cookies in the room in the p.m. A refrigerator to store leftovers or snacks. A large armoire storing a variety of guest amenities including toiletries, water & soda, paper goods, etc. A laptop & printer for guest use and WiFi (free) throughout the house.

Lydia, the manager and chef, is a wonderful hostess. You feel so welcomed. She knows a lot about the area and is happy to share travel tips, restaurant suggestions, where to find a good laundromat, etc. Bonnie, the owner, can be found gardening daily, keeping the grounds gorgeous. We are birders and were delighted to see a Bald Eagle flying over the bluff within 5 minutes of our arrival. We were told there is a nesting pair of eagles a couple of blocks over and their young one was also flying about many times a day. The gardens attract a variety of other species, including hummingbirds we don't get in the East and other Western species.

Sea Cliffs is between Port Angeles and Squim, with a variety of local sightseeing spots within 10 minutes. It is also very convenient to Olympic National Park and a good spot for touring the rest of the Olympic Peninsula. There was nothing we could think of that we might have wanted at Sea Cliff Gardens that wasn't already there. The grounds and setting are so wonderful we were sorry we spent so much time sightseeing, not leaving us enough time to just enjoy the B&B. This is a five star property at a very reasonable price. You will love it!!

Room Tip: All rooms overlook the back gardens and Strait of Juan de Fuca. One has a hot tub & one has a j...

Beautiful room - beautiful garden - marvelous breakfast!
Lydia and Bonnie were wonderful!
We stayed in the Marie Antoinette Suite and were absolutely delighted with it.
We have stayed at Bed & Breakfast Inns all over the USA and in England, Sea Crest Gardens rates in our top three favorites. We wish we had had more time to spend there. The suggested restaurant we chose for dinner had an excellent menu selection and was reasonably priced. There is much more to do and see in the area than we realized.
We will return!
Highly recommended!

My husband and I visited the area for a few days. Sea Cliff Gardens was a wonderful spot to relax and enjoy our stay. Lydia was very welcoming on our arrival and gave us some helpful tips. She prepared a great breakfast for us one morning and packed an early breakfast to go the first morning since we were wanting to catch the early ferry to Victoria. We enjoyed the beautiful flower gardens and ocean view from our room. At breakfast we enjoyed talking to the other guest. We enjoyed a late night cup of coffee and cookies in our room after a busy day in Victoria. What a Great Place and Wonderful hostess- Lydia! Thanks for everything! Iowa Vistors
