We stayed at this B&B after a week long of travel and it was the best end of our vacation. Beautiful room with garden and ocean view. Lydia is a great chef and cooks from her heart. She also knows about all the attractions and restaurants. I wish we had more time and would definitely go back again.

We are not surprised by all the positive reviews of this lovely B&B as it has everything you could want as a base to explore the Olympic Peninsula. The gardens are a fantastic riot of color; the rooms are very comfortable and spacious with side-by-side chairs thoughtfully placed in front of the windows for watching the sunsets and the birds; the breakfasts were fantastic; and the innkeeper, Lydia, is a gracious and accommodating professionally-trained chef who clearly loves making people happy (and is also a font of knowledge about the area). Nice little notes in the rooms courteously inform you of the subtleties of the place (such as how the faucet to the shower works). Because we made our reservations very late in the season, we had to move to a different room each night of our three night stay. Lydia and her staff magically made that a painless experience and actually it was really fun to try all the rooms out! There is a very nice collection of DVDs to watch and books to read. Fresh cookies appeared in the room every afternoon - yummy. One highlight of our trip was bicycling in the area (see our review of Adventures Through Kayaking) - the staff at the inn were so nice to allow us to store our bikes there, safely, despite our having already checked out. Wow! This is truly a gem of a place!!

Room Tip: They are all very spacious and nice. Rooms on the upper level have a nicer (by a smidge) view, but...

This wasn't the first place we stayed at on our visit to the Olympic Peninsula, but we wish it had been. Our host Lydia was extremely knowlegableabout in the attractions at the Northern end of the Peninsula, and a great guide to good restaurants and sights locally. We really appreciated her insights.
The settings for the B&B were outstanding, from the path through tall tres and fern gardens at the front door to the superb gardens on the other side leading down to the clifftop views. Spectacular views and fully deserving all the photos taken
Accommodation was very comfortable. We needed stairs to get into our king sized bed, and from their great views out past the cliff top to the sea. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the shopping specialist among us had to buy some of the sheets as they were so comfortable.
Breakfast was delicious - lavendar pancakes were the main item.
Overall I would heartily recommend Sea Cliff Gardens for anyone wanting a very comfortable stay with a very knowlegable and helpful host

This is kind of place you don't want to leave.
Great location.
Beautiful room and gardens with ocean view.
Delicious breakfast.

If you like flowers, bring your macro lens.
Good selections of various plants bloom, best poppy variety I have seen.

Watch for eagles flying by in the am and a pm.

Would recommend this B&B.

One of the nicest B&B's I have ever stayed in. The location is great and the views amazing! We stayed in Marie Antoinette's Boudoir. The bed was extremely comfortable, The sheets were so soft and comfy we didn't want to get out of bed, the double jet tub in the room was a treat, a huge shower and we loved the little LED candles they provided. We spent much of our time relaxing in the rocking chairs soaking in the view. The chairs and binoculars by the cliff were a nice touch and it was a lovely romantic way to watch the sunset.

Lydia was a gracious host and wonderful chef. The breakfasts were so tasty and filled us up for hours. The gardens are immaculately kept. Hope to return one day.

Room Tip: All rooms have a view, I'm sure they are all lovely.

What a beautiful, clean Bed and Breakfast this was! We were on the last night of our vacation and wanted a comfortable and relaxing place to put our feet up and enjoy the view. Couldn't have asked for a better place!

The rooms all have incredible views of the gardens and the ocean (technically, the Strait of San Juan de Fuca). They thought of everything.... we were constantly amazed at the owners' foresight with regard to the guests' needs.

Lydia, the hostess, was wonderful at showing us around and even took orders for our breakfast the next day. One can tell she really puts her heart into her food and service. Breakfast is served in front of (yet another) gorgeous picture window with a view. On the morning we stayed we enjoyed Blueberry pancakes, sausage, ham/egg muffin bakes, fresh fruit, plus fresh coffee, juice, etc. It was great fun visiting with the other guests... felt like we were at a well-done dinner party!

Would recommend this to friends/family and anyone who is considering visiting the Olympic Peninsula.

Sea Cliff Gardens gave us a very comfortable stay. The location and gardens are delightful, and the views amazing (as long as the fog stays away). There are lots of conveniences for the guests in terms of little things like bottles of water or sodas. We found our host, Lydia, gracious and accomodating. I noticed that a previous guest complained that they didn't like the adirondak chairs outside, and wanted straight chairs in the room; we, on the other hand, loved the outside chairs, but would have preferred something a little less throne-like in the room to sit in front of the window... everyone is different. The only minor annoyance for us was that one of our computers wouldn't connect through their wifi, but there is a computer available for guest use if needed.

Breakfast was great (I'm still working off this trip...).

We would definitely choose to come here again.

We really appreciate this heads-up about the Wi-Fi. We're checking all the rooms now with two different laptops. If it wasn't just a blip (which happens occasionally out here on the peninsula) we'll get this fixed right away!
