“Prime Rib”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 23, 2012

Wanted prime rib in Port Angeles. That's what we got! MMMMM. nice cut and cooked just the way we like it. Very tasty and the sides were yummy too! Didn't have room for dessert, though.

“Very Average”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 17, 2012

We spent the night in Port Angeles on our way through the Olympic Peninsula, and were pretty hungry after a day of traveling and hiking. I was dying for a good steak, so this looked like the place to go. It was just okay, but honestly probably one of the better places in this fairly dumpy town. I ordered the New York strip, and I will say that it was cooked perfectly to order (medium). The restaurant is dark and old, but apparently very popular among locals because it was pretty crowded for a Wednesday night. The meal was just average and the service so-so.

“Good food, good prices”

We like it. We hated Olympic Lodge Hotel but loved eating here. Casual and friendly. Good food. Moist chicken. Hamburger cooked perfect. Great fries.

“Expectations too high”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 11, 2012

This is an interesting looking restaurant with a mix of rustic and antique decor. We had poor service this evening; not seated/no water refills/served the wrong meal/no apologies. That happens sometimes, so as long as the food is good it makes up for it.

Well, the food wasn't so good. It wasn't bad, just rather bland. At the prices they charge here, you would expect better (at all levels). I scanned the restaurant and saw some very pleased clients (as well as others not so pleased), so it's difficult to judge. Like others have said, the salad bar was a popular choice, so maybe that's the route to go.

We had a great meal at Bushwackers. NIce salad bar with soup. My wife had the prime rib and I had a great pork chop. Food was excellent.
