“Nothing Better”

We were a group of 2 couples and had the two upstairs bedrooms in the main house. It was like our own home. This house was built as a B&B and the room layouts were fantastic. Large bedrooms with large bathrooms. We were in heaven. The breakfasts were outstanding only to be matched by the owners hospitality. Definitely a jewel in the Port Angeles area.

Room Tip: If your one or two couples, book one of the upstairs bedrooms of the main house.

This place is aptly named! A truly stunning view overlooking the Juan de Fuca Strait, you can see Vancouver island in the distance. The owners are transplanted New Mexicans who sold their successful businesses ten years ago and moved here to fulfill their dream. The main house and guest house are warm and welcoming, as are the hosts, and everything works flawlessly. And the breakfast was simply phenomenal - a gourmet three-course meal (we were expecting OJ and scrambled eggs!). Secluded location but convenient to both Port Angeles and Sequim, both with excellent restaurants. If you're going to the Olympic peninsula, don't miss this place!
Barbara and Dan Martin

Room Tip: Any room would be good - there are only three, all steps from the overlook to the strait.

A picturesque, comfortable, pleasant property: clean and well maintained. The owners were very welcoming and helpful.
We thank them for their efforts on our behalf.
I don't have more to say and don't appreciate tripadvisor requiring "200 characters minimum."

We booked at Eden by the Sea following reviews by other travelers on Trip Advisor. We are happy to report that it was everything we read and so much more!

Quiet and tranquil retreat on a secluded large parcel of land with outstanding views off the bluffs and water. Immaculate home and well appointed rooms from the bedroom to the reading and living room. Evelyn and Dave's were indeed the perfect host while Evelyn's breakfast was one of a Master Chef.

We will return.

What a joy to spend a few days here; our home base for exploring the Washington Peninsula. Not only are the breakfasts well worth the trip, but Evelyn is a true 'foodie' and her dinner recommendations rival anything found in much larger cities. What a treat to have mountain views in either direction: Cascades across the water and Olympics on the front porch. This will be my "go to" spot anytime I'm in the area.

Room Tip: The east side faces the water, the Cascade mountain range, and beautiful sunrises.

Evelyn and Dave are the perfect hosts: sensitive, caring, helpful, but not intrusive. Evelyn served the best food we've ever eaten at any past B&B. She catered to our specific diets, which we both appreciated so much. Really, the breakfast is so opulent and satisfying, you don't need to eat 3 meals in a day, 2 meals will suffice. We loved the coffee and afternoon snacks. This B&B is the BEST of the BEST! Easy access to Olympic National Park. We highly recommend and would return without any reservations.

Room Tip: The Garden Room had great views on 3 sides. Also, beds were excellent.

My husband, sister and I departed from the standard hotel and booked the cottage at Eden by the Sea. While the accommodations were what we expected, the breakfast experience was 'to die for' and probably the best kept secret. We made new friends, and will definitely be back!

Room Tip: While the cottage is a good choice for more than two, we highly recommend the Garden Room for a Roma...
