We really enjoyed our stay. We found it a beautiful place. It is very well kept, like new. The hosts are very nice and they prepare a lovely breakfast. We really liked sitting in the large backyard out by the cliff overlooking the sea. It is very peaseful and private. You can't go wrong staying here, no matter which room you stay in.

Room Tip: All the rooms are large a lovely.

We stayed here while seeing Olympic National Park. Our room was beautiful and very large. I loved the large soaking tup with the view of the Straight of Jaun de Fuca between Washington and Vancouver Island. Everything about this B&B was first class it really is lovely. I asked about the brand of sheets they use on the beds. Evelyn called my home and left a message naming the brand, thread count, and where I could buy the sheets. That is wonderful personal service. You go away thinking you ave stayed with friends. Add to all this Eveyln is a fantastic gourmet cook! On a scale of 1-10 this was an 11.

Room Tip: Not sure you could go wrong with any room. I saw the three rooms in the main house. One Queen and tw...

My friends and I stayed there one night during our trip in NW Pacific. We stayed in cottage not in the main house. Everything was perfect. Very clean, spacious place. The owners are super nice and they serve delicious breakfast...three course. Definitely will be back there. Highly recommended!

I had a wonderful stay, although it was a short three nights. The room was beautiful, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast each morning was spectacular and the hosts were wonderful. I couldn't have found a more relaxing BB to stay while on a short business trip. I will definitely return and next time hopefully on vacation!

The owners put a tremendous amount of love and care into their b and b, which they had custom built from scratch. The beds are super comfortable, with lovely soft sheets, and the towels are thick. The breakfasts are amazing. The location is stunning, peaceful and idyllic, and a perfect place from which to explore the Olympic Peninsula and Olympic National Park..

This is an incredibly beautiful inn owned by a most gracious couple. We stayed in the Garden Room which had panoramic views of both the Strait of Juan de Fuca as well as the Olympic Range. Evelyn and Dave have thought of everything to make their guests' visit so relaxing and memorable. Beautiful rooms, three course gourmet breakfasts, perfectly relaxing. This is THE place to say whenever we will be visiting the area in years to come -- Wow!

We were swayed by the glowing OTT reviews but actually a little disappointed by our stay. Its a very pleasant modern house located (further out of Pt A than expected) in what appears like a field with views as already stated of snow-capped mountains, pine trees and the sea.

We liked: splendid vistas especially from the bath and deck (unfortunately it was too cold to sit out); cleanliness; cookies, beverages and nibbles, comfy bed, terrific restaurant ‘Woodfire Grill’ recommendation (menus, directions offer of reservation all available).

We disliked: chilly reception on arrival, literally as we were kept waiting out in the cold and felt we were not expected; finding what we assumed was the previous occupant’s left-over burger in our fridge (which by the way is outside on the landing). The formal communal breakfast was delayed by almost an hour (we thought 8.30 was late enough anyway) which showed little consideration of guests needs as we didn’t get out until after 10.00am. Sadly it was not worth the wait with slow service, hard over-cooked baked eggs and a slice of over-sweet cakey pudding, not really the ‘creative’ event as hyped. We declined breakfast on the 2nd day.

Perhaps another ‘off’ day. Of course with all these reviews it does depend on guest expectations, taste and what you are used too but I would always advocate ‘keep it simple’. Breakfast in the UK is traditionally a fast, informal meal (and never served) as people want to get on with their day, so prefer juice, fruit, toast etc. on the table so guests rather than the owner can control the speed and take or leave the hot offerings.

However, all in all it was very pleasant, good value and an interesting start on our journey down Hwy 101 and PCH where we stayed in some truly amazing places.
