“Best Breakfast in Port Angeles”
Reviewed September 6, 2009

Had breakfast this morning (9/6/09) prior to a full day of exploring in Olympic National Park. I had milk and the olympic bagel breakfast (egg, bacon, cheddar cheese ) on choice of bagel ($6.95). Hubby had the wild salmon, cream cheese and egg bagel with Earl Gray tea (which he said was the best Earl Gray he's had in ages) ($7.95). The bagel sandwiches are huge. I couldn't even finish mine. Quite tasty and a perfect way to load up on some calories before a day of hiking. Cozy restaurant (tables and a counter for seating). Neat and clean. Friendly, helpful staff. Would highly recommend this as a good breakfast spot. Note that they don't open until 8:00 now...have switched to 'winter" hours.

“Excellent Bagels”
Reviewed August 26, 2009

We enjoyed the bagels at Olympic Bagel Company, they had many different kinds of bagel and cream cheese. Coffee was excellent. We also enjoyed the bagel chips they had, unfortunately they only had one bag we could have easily eaten through 4 bags while hiking at the park.

“Can be fun place to meet friends.”
Reviewed July 28, 2009

Lots of staff turnover and service can be good to mediocre. Order at the counter and hope you get what you ordered. Pick your own table or rearrange tables to sit with friends. Generally food is ready in a reasonable time to pick up and the coffee is very good and refills are included.

“Good coffee, even better bagels, and the best staff”
Reviewed April 29, 2009

Even though there is no competition in the area for bagels, the Olympic Bagel Company makes very good bagels. They are better than any of the national chains. The coffee is very good and the staff is great. It is a good thing too because the owner has absolutely no interest in his customers and extending himself to make customers feel welcome. On the other hand, the staff welcomes customers as if they had an ownership interest in the place and care. If you go there more than once they ask your name and remember it. They learn what you like and make great effort to insure you enjoy your experience.

One thing that is not good at all are the factory made cookies and other sweets. They are horrible. One wonders why it is impossible to get a decent fresh cookie anywhere in Port Angeles or Sequim. They should either make the cookies on site or just not sell cookies because the ones they have are dry, stale tasting wasted calories.

“our trip”
Reviewed July 13, 2008

Was crowded but it had a warm atmosphere, great servce and food. We had a chicken cashew on a multigrain bagel...the best (It came with garlic parm bagel chips and a pickle), a tuna melt ... too much to eat at one time and a baslamic spinach warm/bacon salad..delicious. We did not have breakfast but we heard that the omelets are generous. Next time we are in the area we will review their breakfast.
