“Delightful meal in a charming atmosphere”
Reviewed October 31, 2013 via mobile

What a treat .... A beautifully decorated French Provincial room, with lovely music (recorded), and most delicious food. For starters, Escargot with fresh french bread for soaking up the butter and garlic - yum. I had the rack of lamb, my husband had the crab soufflé - both fabulous. They also served us a butter lettuce salad, and a side plate of veggies and rich scalloped potatoes. All was impeccably prepared and served. The wine list included one of our favorites ... Frank Family Chardonnay (served a bit too cold). The chef, the wife of the co-owner couple, came to our table for a visit toward the end of our meal. Very sweet touch. We throughly enjoyed our meal and the whole evening.

“This is an absolute treasure and the food was amazing!”
Reviewed October 25, 2013

Let's start with the most important part of the experience: the food was incredible. I ordered filet mignon with Dungeness crab and it was stellar! The people I was dining with agreed that their meals were exceptional as well, and the value for the quality of the food is excellent.

The restaurant decor is very European, and though perhaps a bit dated, it's exceptionally clean and well maintained, so it really just adds to the overall charm. What really stole my heart about this place was the wonderful hosts, the couple who own the restaurant. They were very welcoming and provided great service throughout the meal, and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a nice meal in Port Angeles.

“Ok. Kind of creepy.”
Reviewed October 23, 2013 via mobile

I have lived in port angeles my entire life but have not ate here until I went with a group of friends. The food was good and worth going to get but the atmosphere is a little strange and doesnt fit together. Reminded me of a soap opera based in the 80s.

There was a man who either owned the place or worked there that would not leave my friend alone. He kept asking her to go back to his house.... it was creepy given he was an older man.

I probably wouldnt make a special trip to go there again.

“A wonderful little French restaurant”
Reviewed September 9, 2013

We've eaten in lots of French restaurants on our travels and found this to be one of the best. The food was just delicious and the chef/owner was charming. We would highly recommend this restaurant.

“It's name says it all!”
Reviewed August 13, 2013

This exquisite french restaurant serves up atmosphere and fine foods with a flare. We arrived without reservations on a Saturday evening, en route back to Victoria through Port Angeles. Friends had recommended it, stating that if we ever had a couple of hours to spare before catching the ferry, we should try this restaurant. They were so right!
Although the parking lot was filled, the friendly owner met us at the door and welcomed us in, taking time to assure us that although they had a large group (of wine tasters!) in for the evening, he guaranteed we would receive the highest quality service and meal. He kept his word.
Our tender halibut, topped with fresh Dungeness crab, and mango sauce had lively flavors that could not be improved upon. The servers were most friendly and attentive; and we thoroughly enjoyed the stories the owner entertained us with when he joined us for a few moments, wine glass in hand.
We plan to return. C'est Si Bon is worth the ferry trip.
