“I wish I had a local restaurant like this”

Travelling alone, and with no reservation on a Saturday night, I was made to feel welcome. The ambiance was great, there was nice live music, and the service was spot on.

I had an appetizer of pork medallions on salad - (good, but not especially exciting) - and an espresso creme brulee - the crust was a little over-done). Despite the minor quibbles, overall the experience was superb for a restaurant in this price range. With a glass of good syrah, my total was $31 plus tip - good value.

“The clear winner!”
Reviewed August 19, 2006

Our family dined for a few nights in Port Angeles while visiting some newly relocated family. We ate at several of the town's restraunt's, (bella italia, tendy's garden, etc. etc.) but found Michael's to be the clear winner. We only wished we'd have found them before our last night in town. Excellent food, incredible atmosphere, great service. Michael's own father Bill dined with us! Quite an amazing restraunt, a necessity if you're coming to Port Angeles.

“Glad we stumbled on Michael's”

We missed our ferry and had to hang in Port Angeles for a few hours. Port Angeles is a dump, but we luckily stumbled on this great restaurant. It made the ferry wait worth it.

“Wonderful meal and excellent service”
Reviewed July 28, 2004

During a three week trip to the Pacific Northwest, our family (including two kids) voted Michael's the best meal we had. The food was superb and the service was excellent. I highly recommend a stop if you are in the area.
