“Local Flavor with a Personal Touch”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 30, 2013

We stopped at Blackbird on our way home from ONP Visitor Center. The drive thru was the exact touch we needed with the sleeping baby in the back seat. The owner served us two wonderful coffees with a homemade triple berry coffee cake. If you need a friendly smile with fresh coffee and homemade food, then this is your place!

“Coffee fit for a city! Excellent pastries.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 5, 2013

We were driving through Port Angeles and looking for the best coffee we could find. This place was a real surprise -- not just "best around", but actually excellent! Good bean sources (Stumptown) and practices (freshness), a clean machine, knowledgeable, helpful staff, and serious pastries to top it off.

We tried a latte (they nailed it) and an iced coffee, which was a Stumptown bottle. Then a decaf when we drove back through on our way back to Seattle a few days later.

Easily 5 stars. Thanks, Blackbird.

“Awesome sandwich and cookies”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 5, 2013

We visited twice and it was great both times. Small eat in place with a drive thru so very convenient. The staff was so very friendly! Would highly recommend this place if you need a sandwich to go. Get the cookies!

“Excellent espresso”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 23, 2013

Whenever we leave Seattle, we worry about finding the kind of excellent espresso we've come to rely on. Blackbird Coffeehouse saved us on our recent excursion to Olympic National Park. They take their coffee seriously here! Wonderful cookies and pastries, too. Nice place to hangout and read or relax, too, if you're not in a hurry.

“Great Food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 26, 2013

This was a great place to stop for lunch before heading into Olympic National Park. The quiche and soup that day were both excellent (and warm, a special treat on a rainy day). The sandwich was good. Prices were reasonable - $18 for lunch for 2 people.
