So we have stayed here several times over the last couple of years, and it's a great hotel, friendly staff, clean, comfortable rooms and beds, when you can get a room with a view of the Strait of Juan de Fuca, that is really awesome. It is in a great location, and we usually have room service from the restaurant and it's always great. My only complaint this stay was the price of the room. $314.00 for a single queen room with no view seems pretty pricey foe Port Angelas and much more than what we've paid here in the past. Very high for a Thursday and so we felt like they were up charging a little. We could have looked around town a little, but we were tired after driving all day. All in all a fine stay, but not worth $314.00.

Room tip: Try to get a view room if possible

We've stayed at the Red Lion Port Angeles numerous times and have always been pleased with our stay. The location is convenient to downtown and an easy walk takes you to shops restaurants an other amenities. The service has always been superb and the staff members are professional and friendly. The hotel is convenient to the ferry to Victoria, Canada.

Staff was very friendly and check in very fast. Grand kids loved the pool. Room was very large and had a beautiful view. Hotel does need to be updated, halls and doors painted. Loved the two sinks in the bathroom. Booked two rooms and one had a musty smell. Hotel is pricey for the area but the best choice in Port Angeles

Room tip: Get a room with a view.

When searching for a place to stay during our road trip around the peninsula, this seemed like the best bet for our family of three. The hotel, inside and out, is just outdated. The price was pretty high compared to the next place we stayed for two nights and the same style room, and was modern. But need to say that we would stay there again, since as I said before, it looks like the best option within the town.

Wanted to hop, over for the day to go to the fair and rodeo. The hotel was perfect, the staff was ultra helpful and the waterview room was perfect. AND, we had fresh dungeness crab and crab cakes from room service (at 10pm!!) while overlooking the Straight of Juan de Fuca and listening to the gulls.
