“A clean, comfortable room”
Reviewed May 8, 2012

My wife and I spent a night here while exploring the National Park. The place is a little old, but was still comfortable. We spent the $20 extra for a room with a water view. I thought it was worth it. Room was a little old, but the bed was comfortable and the room was large.

The breakfast buffet was not very good, but it worked.

Great location! Spend a little extra for waterside if your gonna hang around at all. You can walk any and everywhere from this place and the staff is amazing! Pets are welcome if you have one...we had a great time!

Great location, all service was exceptional. Hotel is older but well maintained and clean. The rooms are large and the ocean view was fantastic. Some rooms overlook the parking lot. The beds were cozy too.

We were so pleased with our stay. The only reason I would not give them a 5 is the breakfast that came with our room. You do have an option of ordering off the menu. I would suggest doing that. The staff was great. We stayed on the second floor with an ocean view. We will be back and we only live a 2.5 hr drive away!

This is just a typical hotel I haved stayed at about 5 times. I have never had the view side. It was about $30 cheaper than the #1 rated Hotel but I stayed here because I like the restaurant for Breakfast. It is right next to the Victoria ferry and I suppose you could leave your car with them. What I like aout the restaurant is the experienced waitresses.
The view is perfect also.

Terrific place overall, but B&B pkg not really worth the cost of it. Royal Start breakfast leaves a bit
to be desired. Probably better if just had a free continental.

Staff is just wonderful, cheerful, helpful, and informed.

Room Tip: Ocean view rooms offer a wonderful view and are very spacious. No ramp to get luggage up to double...

Although we were barely in the room (we had a late night arriving, and an early morning leaving) the staff was very friendly and offered suggestions for places to eat in the area. The views outside were amazing, although in the morning it was still quite dark out. Overall it was a very clean and pleasant stay. The room was very nice and clean and the bathroom was one of the largest on our trip through Seattle and Vancouver.
