Very strange location, in the middle of an empty strip mall. Sketchy motel next door. Not near any restaurants. That said, it is clean and friendly. I would not leave anything in the car. It is $20 less than comparable hotels in area.

Dear Das4545, Thank you for taking the time to review your stay with us! We appreciate and value any feedback we can get to better improve our hotel for all future guests. Unfortunately, until renovation in the shopping center is complete and our new neighbors move in, the area does look empty. We are proud to hear that once inside, you found everything to your expectations. Thank you for your understanding and we hope to accommodate you in the future!
Thank you, Lisa

My wife, two grand-daughters and I stayed here overnight heading back home from Disney. It appears that this is an old hotel that they have been "refreshing" with minor repairs and paint. Easy to get to off I-75, beds were comfortable and the breakfast was hot and well stocked. Nothing special, but nothing specifically wrong.

Although it is not in the best location for some, I thought it was alright. The room was clean and comfortable . Quite a variety for the continental breakfast and the staff was very friendly and helpful . My husband and I found a country bar with a live band only two miles from hotel and had a wonderful evening out !!

This hotel is situated in an old strip mall. It appears to be a not so desirable part of town. I purchased room on hotwire (they had it as 3 star hotel.. ha that was a joke and not a very funny one!). When i walked into room there was a balled up tissue laying next to one of the beds, disgusting!! The shower had black mold growing around the stainless handlebar in shower stahl. There was a HUGE black hair on the toilet! Thinking about it now makes me sick. My bed sheets had a stain that appeared brown (I believe it was blood stain). I was very unsatisfied with this hotel! I only needed to sleep here for 6 hours so I did that and got the hell out! I am extremely disappointed that hotwire would rate this old raggedy hotel 3
stars... This hotel should be rated 1.0 star.

First, the good news: The hotel is convenient to I-75, is clean, and is staffed by helpful, friendly people.

The hotel is older, and while it has been fairly well-maintained, its age is showing. It is located in an abandoned strip mall, and seems shoe-horned into the space. Felt a bit sketchy at night. Our room was quite clean, and check-in was quick. However, the mattress definitely needs to be replaced. We were in a King room, and the mattress was so shot that we'd end up sliding towards the middle during the night.

Also, when they say King room w/Jacuzzi tub, they aren't kidding. It really is IN the room, and is huge. Our son thought it was awesome. It was older and had obviously been repaired a few times, but it was clean and worked well.

This location isn't up to par with other Holiday Inn Express hotels we've stayed at before, and really isn't worth the price. But, if you do find yourself in need of a clean, fairly quiet place to sleep on the north side of Macon and right off I-75, you could do worse.

Older building in an abandoned strip mall. Parking situation was a pain. Check in was quick, but not welcoming or personable. Rooms were clean enough, but furniture is worn and needs replacing. Bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. No outlets convenient to the bed for phones, etc to be plugged in. Definitely need to invest in lamps with outlets on base. Had to unplug the alarm clock in order to plug in my phone charger. Hotel guide in the room was contained in a clear plastic three-ring binder which just came across as thrown together and cheap. Overall, the hotel was on the lower end of okay. Since it was a quick stay, it was adequate. Wouldn't have wanted to stay any longer.

The location setting should be the first sign to not stop here. The parking lot and front entry is dark and dirty. It matches the inside when you walk in and are at the reservation desk. The clerk was friendly. Nothing and no where was clean from the elevator to the room. This place was not worth the rate charged.
