We like to go on rainy weekends. They always have different exhibits every time we go. Fun education for the kids!

I enjoyed the traveling exhibit. A school group was there and they seemed to be enjoying their visit as well.

“"Evokes wonder, stimulates curiosity and opens minds to new worlds of discovery."”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 12, 2013

Macon is home to many museums celebrating a variety of subjects ranging from music to sports. But the only one dedicated to serving everyone, with a broad cross section of interestingly presented information, is the Museum of Arts & Sciences <http://www.masmacon.org/>.
MAS is Georgia’s only cultural institution devoted to the arts and sciences and largest general purpose museum in the state, featuring exhibits, newly remodeled $1.1 million full-dome Planetarium, Observatory, Mini-Zoo with over 70 live animals, Discovery House with interactive exhibits and beautiful Nature Trails.
The Museum is "a resource for life-long learning and enrichment that engages a diverse audience by presenting objects and experiences designed to evoke wonder, stimulate curiosity, and open minds to new worlds of discovery."
I'm sorry that one reviewer found MAS boring and I wonder if the reader who found his review helpful has visited the Museum. Our friends and family attend many of the diverse events and activities regularly and always find the experience exciting.

Although haven't been in a while, they have great exhibits like Dinosaurs and such. Kids of all ages will enjoy this. I have attended meetings here. Modern. Clean. Convenient.

“Good For A Quick Tour”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 26, 2013

My wife and I carried our four year old granddaughter for a visit. Probably better suited for a few years older, but still okay.

The "zoo" was facinating for her, but probably not much for anyone slightly older.

The standing exhibits were somewhat dated and not too well maintained.
